Went from 5 star to 1 star back to 5+
So I had to completely change my review of the product and the customer like with this 'not like any other' shea butter. I have been purchasing this shea for about a year. Between my husband and I, we go through it pretty quickly.. I ordered a few in a row that were not to my satisfaction, especially knowing how bomb thus product really is! I had called the company and didnt get a response. I was really upset, one reason being I didnt want to find a new shea bc I love this one. I called back and got a return call! And LET ME TELL YOU... The company, which is a small, family owned business, more than made up for my frustration!! She replaced all of my jars I had bought even though I returned them! Not only did she send me replacements, she sent me these AMAZING HOMEMADE SOY CANDLES THAT SMELL INSANELY DELICIOUS!!! She custom made my scents! One was Lavender Vanilla and the other Grape Chardonnay (Like OMGOSH BOMB!!).. I wouldn't be able to pick one between the 2... real talk. When they are available for sale, I would definitely recommend buying them! The amazing customer service that I received has more than sold me. I already love the product... add amazing customer service and I am straight! Thank you Amaze Glow for remediating the issue I had 10 fold and helping make this girl one happy camper.

Two hits and one miss.
I have purchased this product three times. The first one I ordered got me hooked. It was so smooth and my skin loved it. The second one as noted in the picture was like a totally different product. It was really grainy, nutty, and didn’t go on smoothly at all. To me it was unusable. I was ready to be done with this brand and then I ordered one more and it was smooth like the first one.

Now, this is Shea Butter, it's very unique texture, color, feel.The product is very well packaged, it has a seal, a nice sturdy container, it comes exactly as advertised.The container is jam packed, you get every single one of your 16 ounces.The Shea butter looks just REAL, smooth in texture, with it's nutty aroma, it absorbs very quickly with no oily residue.I am just going crazy about all the DIY I am going to make with this :))), Shea-coconut ( velvety skin) , Shea-argon ( goodbye hair/nail breakage) , Shea-almond, Shea castor (dope hair sealant).You have no idea what a non-toxic magic product this is for 14.99, because no 200$ cream comes close if you know how to use this.(I recommend using this at night before bed, if you like your brand cosmetics during the day)This seems to be a company that puts efforts in quality. I highly recommend this product.

Bad smell and texture.
The product did not smell good at all. The scent is so strong and off putting. Plus the texture of the product was really grainy and just did not feel good on the skin.

Your skin will love you!
I have been using straight coconut oil for quite sometime, as it is the best moisturizer without chemicals that I could find. Until I tried this pure African Shea Butter. OMG, my skin looks amazing. I do add enough coconut oil for it to spread on my face as Shea butter is very firm. It has not only improved the texture of my skin, the fine lines have diminished significantly. Even my son made a comment that my skin looked really good. He is not one for giving out compliments, so the changes to my skin must be noticeable. The amount that is in this jar will last me for quite sometime, so this is a bargain! Oh, and yes I do use it on the rest of my body too. Again, I have noticed an improvement in the texture of my skin. I have been using the Glowmaze charcoal soap in addition to this Shea Butter. Great combination!

Awesome smell and texture
This shea butter has a natural yellow hue and faint (pleasant, in my opinion) nutty smell. It is smooth and not grainy. I plan to use it as a facial moisturizer for my sensitive skin because it is gentle and does not cause acne. I expect this jar will last me a long time since a little bit goes along way.
