3D Filament Iron (500g)

I don't know if I got a bad batch or if those people that gave it good reviews work for the company. Either way the stuff I got was rubbish. I've printed with Metal PLA before, so this isn't something I am new to.Setting the heat to 210 like they say does not work. I had to bring it up to 235 (240 first layer) to get it to work right, (that's fine that is normal for metal PLA), also had to set the bed temp to 60 degrees otherwise it warps (also normal). But the filament just breaks as it's comes off the spool making printing anything that requires more than 10 grams to be useless.Save yourself the hassle and go with a different brand that cost a few dollars more. It will be worth it.

The filament is attracted to a magnet, easy to print. I have not done any rust tests yet but I would recommend this iron filament. It is a great deal!When I have some finished parts to compare to other magnetic filaments I will try to remember to update the review. For now this is a strong recommend.

First thing I did was test the 50/50 ratio that the sell stated it was, which is the reason I purchased it, for the 50/50. But that was false, it is NOT 50/50. How do these false advertisements make it past amazon? I have bought many, many things on Amazon that have been falsely advertised. Amazon, you should start paying me to test these products for the amount I've wasted on them or I can write a news article warning customers ahead of time, WORLD WIDE with proof.

One of the worst filaments I’ve used. Breaks from normal use. I just opened it and before several prints it broke twice.

Definitely go with 100% infill. Otherwise, it's too squishy and weak.. Prints beautifully at normal temps 200-205C. Definitely magnetic, but it's not proportionate to density. I'm trying to print 20-40mm cylinders to simulate ferrite cores for custom HV pulse transformers.

This is some awesome filament! Great layer bonding, easy to print with and results are super clean. looks a bit like carbon fiber, haven't tried to rust it yet but magnets stick great. I love this stuff!

so this filament destroyed my print bed and jammed in the bowden tube of my cr-10, i would not recommend.

This filament prints well. I will buy from them again.
