Upon receiving them and putting them up I actually like them better than the OEM mounts
I purchased these mounts because they are cheaper than the Arlo OEM mount. Upon receiving them and putting them up I actually like them better than the OEM mounts. They are not as long so it keeps my cameras up a little higher when ceiling mounting them outside. I also like that these mounts do not have the wingnut design as it keeps it nice and clean. They are a little bit harder to tighten up as I had to use a pair of pliers to get them tight to my liking. Overall the mounts are very good and worth the money.

Touchy Positioning
Mounts arrived on time. They matched our Arlo cameras well. The only issue we have is the mounts don't hold all positions securely even if tightened as described. To get the exact aim of camera we desired (after mounting to outside wall) we could not get the mount to stay secure in the desired position (it would slip out if slightly touched), while it would hold well in other positions. So far the cameras have not slipped out of place (therefore four stars instead of three) and we are hopeful it does not slip to another rotation.

4 of 5 stars
Silver part of mount does not swivel to accommodate moving the camera into the space to set up the camera once the base has been secured to the wall. Entire (base) mount has to be unscrewed and repositioned if the space is not in the correct position to move the camera up and down or side to side. Durability is unknown at this point in time.

I used them outdoors and found them easy to install and position the cameras
The mounts work as advertised. I used them outdoors and found them easy to install and position the cameras. However, the product could be improved if there were a security version where the mounts would "lock" to the camera to prevent them from being unscrewed easily. I live in a ranch, and there is a limit to how high I can go for them to be out of reach.

Ideal and well priced$$
I have seen people complain about these, but they are fine, and very reasonable priced. You have to remember to adjust them roughly to what the final mount will be, because doing that after you mount them is more difficult and if you force it that way they will break. They are perfect for the task, and are very easy to mount and utilize. I'll be buying more when I buy more cameras.

arrived quickly
it arrived sooner than the security system. Sadly the security system was battery powered & the batteries only lasted 3 weeks. in the end we didn't need the adjustable mounts. the package information was thrown out so i was not able to return them. My husband decided we would keep them & use for something else

Good quality for light-medium weight objects, buy your own wall anchors/screws.
The wall anchors and screws in this absolutely did not hold in the wall at all. Buy your own for this. The mount itself is not the strongest plastic but would work okay for light to medium weight objects. I purchased mine to hang HTC Vive lighthouses and works perfect for these.

They do work with our arlo system
We like the product but thought maybe to short but was easy to install and work just fine. The originals one from arlo seem stronger but still able to us for our system. I would still recommend them to other for the price and that is was easy to install.

Poor Quality & Rust
I have been used to good quality camera clamps/brackets and this one is very very poor. The plastic section that screws to the wall is very thin plastic which after time will get very brittle and easily be pulled off. Some brackets from have metal inside the screw section which reinforce the structure.....this does not.The metal part started to rust too and looked terrible, i wiped this off and put some oil on it, to keep it away but the rust run down the bracket and looked terrible.Ive took them down, gone with the units that came with the camera instead and I have returned these.if you are using them indoors, and not not fused if its hollow cheap plastic, then they are great as they hold the camera great !!!! Just let down by some simple things.....the amount of money paid for the cameras, I am sure a few extra £ for stainless steel fixing and reinforced bracket would have been a huge seller !

Unpredictable
I wasn't going to review the product as my experience seems to have been very different from almost every other review I've read, but I was emailed asking for one, so here goes...The mechanism for tightening is joined directly on to the bolt that holds the camera in place. This results in the camera itself rotating as you tighten the mechanism to keep it in place. This makes it seem impossible to be certan where the camera will face once the mount has been installed onto a wall.Regarding durability, The body of the item seemes strong enough to hold a camera but the emoung of tightening required was inconsistent and may result in breakage.Basically, I moved the camera mounting bolt so that it was at a 90 degree angle and tightened the mechanism enough to keep the camera stable. I then un-tightened it in order to allow the camera to move again and repeated the whole process. I did this a few times and each attempt seemes to need the mechanism to be tightened a little more/little less to make sure the camrea was stable.Overall, I didn't see the product as fit for purpose and ended up returning it.

Security in brackets
These items are to be used to upgrade the Arlo magentic mounts supplied with the cameras, two of which have parted company with the cameras, having been sat on by squirrels or pigeons sending them to the floor. Luckily, they came to no harm but could have been smashed and rendered useless. This style of screw thread mount will cure this problem completely, as when cameras can easily be moved by weighty wildlife they lose the set field and angle of view and the required coverage. Equally, there is increased security when threaded in place, as they cannot easliy be taken by thieves.I rate these mounts as well made, quality items that give far more options for mounting and positioning cameras

Waste of time. Flimsy, cheap plastic.
These are made of very cheap flimsy plastic, mine cracked while I was trying to tighten it up (after spending time installing it to an exterior wall). I'm glad in a way that it cracked straight away because there's no way it would hold up to the elements and the camera would no doubt have fallen off at some point. Not even close to being fit for purpose. I'm now having to get a refund and order some different ones. Complete waste of time.

Don't bother, buy something more solid
Very poorly manufactured. The quality is so poor the item is prone to cracking if you exert too much torque on the screw. Also i was provided with one that was cracked at the screw end, poor customer service from the seller as they promised a replacement but it never materialised.
