Great for electrical boxes or general hardware use
Ever need a longer (or shorter) screw for an electrical outlet plug or switch or a ceiling light ? These screws are ideal for that purpose.You typically need 6x32 screws for electrical boxes unless some clown has stripped the threads on the metal box and then you have to tap the metal box to 8x32 and use 8x32 screws.If it’s a plastic box that gets stripped, I fill the box screw holes with JB weld epoxy, let it dry and drill and tap them to 6x32.I’ve also used them for bicycles, racks and other common household objects. Since they are stainless you can use them outdoors and they will last for decades.Overall these are well made and useful screws to have on hand. Hope this helps!
