not one of her better books
good - just not as good as the hart brothers or Wyoming series. or the mercenary books - this was a bit of a disappointment.

LOVED IT!
I got this not only in a VERY short time after ordering, but Diana Palmer, as usual, did not disappoint. The book's price was amazing when I paid for my copy. As for the story, one of my favorite books ever! The characters, as usual for Mrs. Palmer, are amazing. They are soulmates and you feel that as you read their story. The chemistry between the lead couple are destined for one another and I love that about her stories. That's Diana. You always know that there has never been anyone else for either couple and that they are meant to be. Reading her books is just heavenly!

I know a lot said it was a typical story. Maybe, but it kept me turning pages, till I found out everything that need to be found out and I got the the happy ending. It is a great beach book or something to take you away from all the turmoil and stuff that is going on these days with the news and all.

Ok read
I think I've read most of Ms Palmer's books and they all seem to read about the same. The hero is always an older, rich man with a grumpy personality. The heroine is usually from a poor family and fell in love with the hero at an early age and returns to town after she's all grown up and beautiful. Even though I know this, I always seem to buy her next book. I guess using the familiar character traits works for me.

Decent Read, but Nothing To Write Home About
I was hesitant to buy this book, having been disappointed in the last few books by Ms Palmer. But my clicking finger for my Kindle got the better of me. The book was a good entertaining read and having mentioned both the main characters in previous books, it was nice to finally see them get a happy ending. But so many of her books recently, it seems as though, all the heroines had to have been permanently damaged during their childhood, not saying that's not to be disregarded...but its starting to make her books more fomulatic.Overall, a good, light-hearted, easy read if you are looking for a way to kill a few hours.

A lot not to get!
Sorry this contains spoilers so do not read if you don't want to know! but have to air my frustrations with this book. The main being both the main characters being kidnapped. First time round he gets some guys to rescue her due to the weeks it apparently takes to get the money together. Second time it's him getting kidnapped and she uses her inheritance of quarter million to pay the ransom which she gets immediately. The kidnapper is over the moon at the amount which will solve all his problems. If it was such a little amount, given the main character is a millionaire, why would a kidnapper not want more money and why would it really take so long to get the money the first time round (bank issues aside)The other issue I have is that at the end she announces that she thinks she "might be" pregnant but doesn't think she should tell her husband first and / or make sure?

Very full of evebts * SPOILER ALERT*
Right.. This book started out well. I liked the relationship between Gracie and Jason. Different to the usual where a man treats a woman horribly from the start but she loves him anyway. But then it went bad. So many twists that you could split them into a few different books. From hidden pasts to fake engagements to kidnapping to housekeeper turned mother to another kidnapping.. A bit much in my opinion. Usually in these types of books one unrealistic plot twist is enough. This book should have concentrated more on Gracie's and Jason's relationship rather than action.Overall was OK, not the best of Palmers work but not the worst either.

Enjoyable but totally unrealistic!!!
I enjoyed this book and the main characters but the storyline is totally unrealistic. If you get get past the total fantasy plot (as I could) then you’ll enjoy this book too.**spoilers**The total fantasy storyline involves two separate kidnappings in the space of a few months by Mexican warlords. Diana Palmer loves kidnappings and plane crashes!!! Also, to top it off, the two kidnapped victims go on a trip together to Cancun with bodyguards “just in case” there would be another attempted kidnapping. You’d think they might try another location in order to relax!!! :-) I laughed at the plot but others might give up on it!!!

Gracie and Jason
Gracie is the typical DP Innocent and inexperienced h. She has been in love with her step brother for years with no hope of her feelings ever been reciprocated. Little does she knows Jason is fighting his growing attraction for her going to the extreme of getting engage to someone else. Great plot, story flowed very well, with great characters and unexpected twist. Packed with adventure, tension, humor and red romance. Much better story than the last few books I have read from DP. Highly recommended

When I read Diana Palmer I just want someone to tell me a story and take me to another place for a while. She certainly does that and despite some criticism I do enjoy all her books and have only ever marked "Down" one of her novels and that was because I didn't like one of her characters.
