As I discovered too late, this so-called guide was compiled by two Belgians, and I guess getting advice on tequila from Belgians is like asking a Mexican to recommend a restaurant in Brussels. It claims to be complete but features only four mezcal producers and 23 tequila brands, and the scant information it provides about these seems to have come off the bottle labels. Oh, and it has some of the least appetising cocktail recipes, all devised by Belgian barmen, that I have come across in many years of dedicated drinking.
