The device locks the fork in a compressed position and releases automatically when the first fork compression occurs. The product includes a spring loaded pin assembly and a hinged fork ring. The hinged fork band allows installation without having to remove the fork tube. CNC machined from billet aluminum assures exact tolerances. A two bolt closure system on the fork band ensures a secure fit and a four screw mounting system on the pin assembly provides secure attachment to the fork guard.
