A decent quality lightweight kettle, looks good on a vintage stove.
This is a decent quality, lightweight kettle that looks good sitting on a blacktop stove. I have a vintage Wolf Range with a black enamel top, and the more modern looking kettles just don't look right sitting on it. This kettle is almost vintage looking, with a true black body and silver metal trim. It is very lightweight, which is actually a pro as far as I'm concerned, because a spinal cord injury makes it hard for me to lift and carry heavier kettles, once they are filled with water. This kettle definitely feels light when empty, so if you are looking for that heavy feel, then you might not like this. If, however, you have a vintage (or vintage looking) stove, and want something light and easy to lift, this fits the bill. I deducted one star because it does rattle a bit, but not so much as to be really bothersome. So far, the black color has held up well to the flame of the gas range.

I Love, Love, Love this Tea Kettle!
It's slightly larger than my previous one and that's good, because we drink tea before bedtime to relax every night. The larger size allows the three of us to have the larger green tea or camomile tea that we so much enjoy!

Basic
Pretty lightweight. Works well. Not really sturdy. Time will tell.

Hard water
The more this kettle is used the more hard water deposits I get. I do wash it to help prevent any more deposits from being created, but it doesn't work. After a use the deposits start to flake off and end up in my tea or coffee. Would not suggest this kettle if you have hard water.
