Very good. I worked my way through high school and ...
Very good. I worked my way through high school and college in restaurants, some of which made pizza. Don't get me wrong, this would likely not qualify as "gourmet" (though I am only judging on the crust and sauce, which is what you get (flour and sauce actually)) - but I really enjoyed it. I'd never had pizza like this before (I've had restaurant, frozen, and scratch) and was very pleasantly surprised. The sauce is good, and the crust is good as well.I was most skeptical about the crust, as I knew firsthand the amount of effort that goes into a "good" pizza crust and simply adding water and mixing sounded dubious. But, the crust was soft in all the right places and crisp in all the right places. The pizza that you will get will not be family size, but a big meal for one and a good meal for two.I took one star off primarily for the size/price ratio. Right now my contract has me in a place where delivery is not an option. Otherwise, I don't think you can get a better pizza (bearing in mind that the toppings are up to you) for the amount of price and effort. Mix the dough with hot tap water, spread it on a greased pan and then spread the sauce. No real kneading, tossing, etc. (obviously the topping effort of chopping, slicing and shredding are also on you). Quick and very good.I recommend this, especially if you can get it on sale.

Almost like what I remembered...
I remembered this product from my pre-teen years, when it was a welcome alternative to TV Dinners when my parents went out for the night...This made a 'good' pizza, but my recollection is that there was more dough in the previous incarnations of this product -- as it is now, not quite enough for a meal for two, unless you add some accompaniments (we even added ground sausage & ground beef as a topper, plus mushrooms, and, of course, cheese... The sauce is OK, but there are 'better' pre-made sauces in the grocery store.Still, an enjoyable, and easy experience.

Forget this pizza mix, it is awful
Awful pizza. The crust is terrible, it comes out doughy and crewy. Not at all impressed! Ok, my search for a delectable pizza crust continues. In any case THIS is not it! I've tried rolling it very thin, then rolling it thicker, then precooking it for a few minutes before adding the sauce (which is reasonable but nothing to write home to Mom about), but none of these methods worked for me. In a word "yuck".

Serious Nostalgia
I love that the packaging for this hasn't changed at all since the 80s. My mom used to buy these kits when I was a kid and when I ran across it on Amazon, I was stunned that they still make them. They taste exactly like I remember and are super easy to make.

This tasted so good! I really loved the crust! If you like pizza kits, such as the chef boyardee pizza kit, then you will love this one!
