I saw a YouTube guy saying this is a junk due to the water temperature gets luke warm at best. Yes, by default it is set to luke warm for some odd reason. After pulling out the adjustment knob in the front and turn to left, full hot water started come out. A simple adjustment. For 1/3 price of Deltas OEM, this is good enough, IMO.

Have a Delta shower kit and had a leak. Contacted Delta and they sent me a replacement o ring and spring. I ended up buying this as those parts did not work and this was super simple to install and works great. Has been in for over a month now with no issues.

I have experience with these cartridges and they are hit or miss I guess. But as many people have suggested that the adjustment ring does not work is not quite correct. The problem lies in the back half of the cartridge. I thought my adjuster may have not been working as well but when I swapped out the back half of my old cartridge and attached it to my new cartridge the temperature was fine. This may be your problem as well. The adjuster ring on the front just limits the travel of your shower handle however the mixer valve in the back was designed to protect you from being scalded or frozen lol but obviously it may be defective in the unit you receive. The front and back halves detach with a simple quarter turn counter clockwise and don't forget to transfer the new seals to the old back half if you use it. Good luck!

I had to replace this because the shower was constantly dripping. This replacement works as expected. I made sure to adjust to the hottest water setting and have plenty of hot water for my shower. It's been 2 weeks so we'll see how long before it starts dripping again.
