65" Church Bell Wind Chime - Amish Handcrafted

The media could not be loaded.  I love these chimes. I think the length is great. They looks substantial. The sound is just like church bells. They make me feel like I am living just down the street from our church.

We have had other wind chimes in the past that have weathered. This one is powder coated, that should last for many, many years. The quality is by far the best that I have seen. The sound is mesmerizing, it has a very rich soft tone in a light wind. In a higher wind sounds, like a church bell. Very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this beautiful crafted chime.

The Church Bell Wind Chime has exceeded our expectations. My wife and I created a "memorial garden" of windchimes with each wind chime honoring a person who has been special in our life. The person's names and some thought are added to the sail. This was our first Amish Handcrafters chime but will not be the last. The sounds are excellent and in a soft breeze when only one tube is struck it does sound just like a church bell. One of our favorites and certainly very rewarding for considering the well-justified premium price.

This wind chime is FANTASTIC! I've only recently become 'obsessed' with chimes and bought 3 of them a few weeks ago. I believe they were all from different vendors, as I wanted to see if there was a difference in manufacturers. If there is, I coukdnt tell you. They are all extremely beautiful, well built and wonderfully packed for shipping. The reason I ended up buying them through Amazon is because I was able to avoid the shipping fees as an Amazon Primer. One external company I was looking at would've required me to pay about $60 in shipping charges. I am a big supporter of local, small businesses, but having the option to purchase the very same chime, but without shipping charges, is what sealed the deal. I don't know too much about the craftsmanship that goes into creating these instruments, but my guesstimate would be that these are of high quality. They're solid and were packaged for shipment extremely well. But the BEST part is the sound she makes...it sounds like the church bells of a Hallmark Movie, but in the very best way! It's very soothing and warm sounding. As I said before, I've only just begun my chime obsession, But when I ordered it I expected it would likely be in the middle of the three that I ordered. I say that because I ordered an 80" chime, this 65" and also a 48". From what I've learned while researching chimes, I expected that the 80" would be the chime with the deepest, richest tone. Followed by this chime and then the 48" chime. I have to say though, I was wrong. This chime is definitely a deeper, warmer sounding chime than the 80". Don't get me wrong, though. They all sound fantastic and have improved the look of my back patio tremendously. If you're on the fence with purchasing this chime you needn't be. It's worth every dollar spent hearing it from my bedroom window on those morning that bring winds (which isn't enough if you ask me). I love this chime!

You buy wind chimes for the sound. Everything else is inconsiquential as far as I'm concerned. These sound terrible. Each tube has a little plastic grommet on both sides where the string passes through. Several of the grommets, on the set I received, are broken leaving a small plastic piece free to move around inside the tube and Buzzzzzzzzzz like an angry little bumble bee when ever the tube rings. Since I have several that are broken the more they ring, the worse it sounds. My time is valuable so I can return these and hope the next one doesn't have the same problem, or I can start taking the string, which holds it all together, out, and fix it myself. That's a lot of knots to untie. Thanks for that. The string will probably wear through quickly without grommets, but it would have anyway since they're broken. Maybe taking out the little piece inside will help them sound better. So much for "Amish Craftsmanship." Would not buy again.

I was so excited when the wind chime finally arrived, this is so well made, beautiful and the sound is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend if your looking for high quality

I looked for chimes that sounded like church bells for 3 years. The deep sounds and a price I could afford was what was the initial factor for these. Once I got to hear them (dad's Christmas present) they are so beautiful sounding. They are a little long but they are going outside so who cares. I'm a little worried about the sting/rope tying the chimes up but that's just off the cuff. These are so great and so worth the money. Thank you for an option under $500 and sounds great to boot.
