Turnkey UTV Can-Am Commander Spare Tire Carrier

Just what I wanted and installation was fast.

Received this item and did not fit at all and very poorly made for the price. After a lot of hammering and longer hardware I got it to fit. Contacted seller and was told if I sent pics of it not fitting they would of sent another. Needed it for the weekend so made it work. Will not be ordering from them again.

You will do some cussing installing this item. After reading about difficulties installing this spare tire holder on a 2017 Can Am Commander 1000 Mossy Oak Edition, I had my Can Am dealer put this on. It took 4 service techs to get this on. They said that nothing lined up exactly and it was hard to get it on. They did and without any modification or fabrication but as I said, it was not easy. Having said this, if you get it on it is a nice spare tire holder that will not interfere with the Commander's bed dump ability unlike some spare tire holders. This product only installs on the driver side and still allows the use of the separator board (between the upper and lower bed) to remain in place. All of the tie down rings in the bed keep their functionality.The Can-Am Gear Rail is not compatible if this is installed. I mounted a stock Can-Am front 27x9xR14 Maxxis Bighorn 2.0 front tire on a stock 14" wheel onto the Turnkey spare tire carrier (see photos) using stock Can-Am lug nuts (10mm x 1.25 Lug Nuts with a 17mm head; Can Am part number 250100100). I had to completely remove the Gear Rail.Update: After 25 hours of solid trail riding, this product has stayed solid. No rattles or movement. Extra star added.The only thing that prevents a 5 star rating is that it is a bitch to have installed. This item was ordered on a Monday and received in Virginia on a Friday.

Purchased this for my first Can Am in 2012,then put on my new 2014 model.Still working great and keeps things were they belong in my bed,gives you more room for cooler this way also.I would buy again for sure,built well and paint holding up good.

Could not mount was way off in manufacturing had to return.

The product is nice, solid, uses the factory hardware, and you get to keep the tie downs inside the bed. However if you have rails on the outside of the bed like the Limited come with you will need to notch the mount so that it does not collide with the rails when you are installing it. Additionally mine had a wheel stud that was not exactly straight so I had to bend it into place.
