Gentlemen Republic 4oz Matte Hair Paste for Men - Water-Based, Strong Hold

Outstanding, gave my hair a darker and more professional feel and hardly flaked.

I’ve used the matte paste for about 2 years now and the thing I love most about is how easy it is to wash off. Unlike other products, you tend to need 2 washes to get it completely off but with gentleman’s republic you just need one. I have a lot of hair so I thought I needed a lot of paste to style my hair but, you just need a finger tip amount to perfectly style your hair. With that, it keeps the style of your hair all day.

Love this product. It's the only one I use have been for years. Don't see myself using anything else. Thank you for the product.

Not bad stuff but there’s a few things. I find that it’s wayyyy easier to work into your hair when it’s wet and ends up being kinda clumpy/greasy if you try to apply it when your hair is dry. If you apply too much it’ll also be greasy so it’s really just about finding your amount. Once you kind of experiment with it and find out what’s best for you it works pretty great. The hold and the scent are both awesome and work well for me. Also, it comes with SO MUCH so you won’t be running out anytime soon.

I get great hold from the Matte paste without leave my hair greasy, crunchy. or wet looking. I have tried several products over the years and this is by far the best I have used. I have found that It is easy to apply and washes off your hands without leaving any sort of residue. In the past, I was an American Crew Fiber user, but I like this product better. The only downside for me is the cost. I usually get it cheaper from my hair stylist.

As with all of Gentlemen Republic's products this too is excellent. The hold is incredible and it washes out like nothing. I'm not a fan of the wax paraben prducts that have a hard time washing out but this stuff is not like that. Highly recommend: low shine, strong hold, easy cleanup!

I tried it first at my barber shop and I loved it. Not only you get a great natural hold - and not greasy nor shining, nor wet looking - but it smells good and it's water based so it does not leave your hands sticky. A great product.
