Nope.
I really wanted to like these toothbrushes because they are biodegradable. The toothbrush head is small - what I was looking for - but the brush is too narrow, so it easily rolls side to side. The wooden handle was not polished smooth, though it at least did not cause splinters.The bristles on these toothbrushes are supposed to be soft. Other reviewers said they had problems with the bristles being scratchy, but that rinsing the bristles seemed to resolve the issue. Rinsing didn't work. I thought I might just need to get used to the feel of these bristles, but no. After a week of brushing after every meal, the bristles still felt stiff and scratchy on my teeth. In fact, my teeth began to feel very sensitive. The bristles even scratched my gums. I had to stop using the White Smile biodegradable toothbrush and go back to my old toothbrush.At least one reviewer said these brushes would be gentle enough for babies and small children. I would never try them on small children or babies.

Good for the whole family
My family and I decided to start a plastic free lifestyle so I searched for toothbrushes for us without the plastic. These arrived in a plastic free package. We have them for over a week now and we all use them (my husband, my 3 year old daughter and I). First time I used it I felt uncomfortable due to wood feeling in my mouth. After that, I made the whole toothbrush wet before I used it and it was much better. I am used to it now and, yes I still have a weird feeling while brushing my teeth but I do not feel uncomfortable. The brussels are the right softness for me and my teeth feel very clean after brushing them. All toothbrushes in the package are the same so I used a sharpie to write our names on them and that works. I do feel good about ditching plastic and these are awesome toothbrushes that I do recommend to everyone as they work for me but also for a 3 year old. They do feel lighter and smaller than the plastic once I used before but they are awesome.

Recommend!
First reaction from opening was omg they're tiny! But then once I started brushing, realized it's the perfect size, the bristles are slightly harder than most bamboo brushes, which I also love. The body of the brush feels really thin, but it's surprisingly strong. I loved the fact that the company sent me emails asking if I received them, if they were ok, and to see if they were what I expected. Loved the communication, the packaging, and I can rest at night knowing we're making a difference by not using plastic.

This product was for my teenage daughter and this is what she told me to tell you:"After many desperate hours of research, I came across these little numbers. They are everything I would ever hope for in a toothbrush. They have a very nice and smooth mouth-feel, unlike traditional toothbrushes (which have the tendency to feel like pine needles). The texture of the handle is also magnificent. I found it very nice that it came with four toothbrushes. That is essentially a years worth. In fact, it would have lasted a year for me, had my parents not stolen them for themselves, after my constant boasting of their quality.

Fantastic toothbrushes!
My teeth are so clean! One use, and I relegated my Oral B fancy-bristled plastic thing to the housekeeping brushes bin. I like extra-soft bristles, but I like these, even though I'd rank them as "soft". I think they have the effect of extra-soft bristles because of their tapered lengths: they're not cut blunt. A huge plus is how small the brushes and heads are! I didn't know that tricked-out conventional toothbrushes are too big for my mouth. I didn't need longer bristles: I needed a smaller toothbrush head! My molars are so happy and smooth. These brushes feel great in my hand, they fit in my cabinet, and I feel good about keeping extras for guests. Hooray!

Great product but confusing marketing
I had my doubts but decided to try these, and I've liked them even more than the bamboo/boar bristle brushes I was using before. The bristles (provided they ARE boar hair) are indeed soft and gentle on my gums, and my orthodontist stopped commenting on them being red and swollen after I started using them. The handle has a nice feel and the brush head fits in my small mouth so that I can reach all of the nooks and crannies without jamming it between my teeth and gums. I've subtracted one star because it seems the manufacturer (or Amazon) needs to get its act together in regard to the TWO DIFFERENT products it sells, which I only discovered recently. The other one is here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MZD736S/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza but for some reason the questions/reviews for the two products have gotten mixed up so that it's hard to tell what these are made of. Even the packaging is confusing - my 4-pack arrived in a box marked "Natural Boar Bristle", which was fine, but the inner boxes read "vegan" and "soft charcoal bristles", and the bristles on the toothbrushes I received are not black. I'm pretty sure I received what I wanted but there seems to be some issues with packaging/labeling, as well as with product knowledge on the part of Tranquilo customer service. If they can get these kinks ironed out then they'll have a nice little operation and I'll continue to order this superior product.

soft, but sharp, feels like a twig in your hands.
Nice super soft bristles. I like it, but it's not perfect. I noticed that the bristles may not have been polished as the first use I got stabbed in the gums by them, they were sharp. Also a few bristles have shed.The last thing I noticed was that it feels like, well, a twig in your hand. I found that by running the whole brush and handle in water this wasn't an issue. Might just be me, but it solved the problem. I like it, and have a whole set of brushes for me.
