TrilucaNo Soliciting Yard Sign-by Duke Za Daisy

We've received several complements from friends, family, and neighbors on this cute "no soliciting" flower sign. We wanted something besides a standard sign and this is perfect for us. It's sturdy and colorful. We put it in a flower pot and it looks great, as well as gets the message across in a fun way. I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but we haven't had any peddlers of any kind since we put it out.

I wanted to avoid the typical severe NO SOLICITING signs, so I tried this out. We've had it up for nearly a year. It blends in nicely with the surroundings and you can tell that it's a sign if you look closely- but unfortunately because the sign is fairly small and low to the ground, it is easily overlooked. We have this in the grass at the start of our long driveway (trying to help solicitors avoid the lengthy trek to our house), but it hardly stopped any. In early November we purchased a tiny plaque which hangs next to the doorbell, and that has stopped all solicitors. We still get fliers left on our porch, but at least our doorbell is silent and the dogs can rest easy!I think this sign may work more effectively in a yard that does not have a large amount of greenery, or where this can be more prominent. I think it would be better on a path or walkway, perhaps in bark or gravel. It may be fine near blooming flowers as well, depending on the amount/type of foliage. Unfortunately with our very large front yard and having this staked in the grass, it has not been effective.

Thought this would be a little bigger. Have to hold it and hammer slowly into ground so it doesn't crack. It's small and looks cute.

I purchased this due to a recent increase in the number of solicitors that are operating in our neighborhood. I was fine with the interruptions, but it seems they are now being trained to be more aggressive and less accepting of a simple "No, thank you." Since purchasing this item, I've only had 1 solicitor that didn't pay attention to it, and before I opened the door, I heard one of them comment to the other that they noticed the sign and they left.Plus it looks attractive in the flower bed by my porch. It blends well, but still stands out. Can't really beat that. Very happy with this purchase.

Love this! It actually looks nice in my shrub section to the right of my front door. You can see it from the street and my kids even like it! I usually get solicitors every couple of days and so far haven't had any. I read a few people commenting that it was flimsy but mine was strong enough to put in the ground and didn't bend or anything. Happy purchase!

This is a nicely stated no soliciting sign (so many are offensive), fast shipping, is as advertised, was a good price, and seems to be just right. Time will tell if it works but it is a nice/pleasent notification, and, time will tell if it holds up in Montana weather. I placed it on my gate up high, as if I put it in the ground as it is made for it would be covered by snow, either snowfall or the plow. Pre-dig with a screwdriver so as not to bend. It is likely more for fair weather and likely out of the sun, since it is plastic and has a vinyl sticker. Most signs are plastic these days. I recommend it so far, would buy again, and I hope this helps.

So should have listened to the reviews. Totally spot on. The price is WAY to much for this. I don't like to give poor ratings on reviews but I really feel silly for not listening to the reviews and letting the price talk me into getting it. It is so tiny. The sticker was already bubbled right out of the package.

Did not read the measurements correctly sign is small.
