I have broad shoulders and a fairly large head and this pillow compresses so much it's almost like not having a pillow at all
I don't know how, but this pillow does indeed keep me cooler at night. My only complaint is that the pillow is fairly thin; I have broad shoulders and a fairly large head and this pillow compresses so much it's almost like not having a pillow at all; I have to either purchase a second one and slide it in my pillowcase with this one or (as I'm currently doing), using another pillow underneath it for side sleeping.I would have purchased the side sleeper pillow but it was sold out; is it thicker?

Firm, comfortable support for side sleeping, but...
This is the firmest pillow I've ever encountered (shopping in stores, and sleeping in hotels as well as my bed).Mixed feelings overall for this pricey pillow: For years I've been looking for a firm pillow that does not collapse after a few minutes and this one certainly keeps its shape.If you are a side sleeper -- throughout the night -- you will love the consistent neck support. However, if you sometimes find yourself sleeping on your back (as I do), this may cramp your neck, pushing your head forward toward your chest.

Great pillow!
Before this pillow I'd find myself spending a long time trying to get comfortable. Now I'm getting to sleep sooner and feeling much more comfortable in bed!The only reason I haven't given it a 5 star rating is that I don't find it staying that cool.

Great cooling, bad support
I found the HIBR pillow to be as "cool" as advertised, as I definitely never felt overheated in my few nights using it. That said, I found it to be very thin and not very supportive. Maybe that's a better style for somebody else, but it definitely felt like my head was touching the mattress at times from sinking straight through it. I ended up returning this, and the quest for the perfect pillow continues.

Sleep made better forever!
This pillow has changed sleep for me completely! The design of the pillow is incredible! The cooling side really changed everything for me. Within the first few days I could really tell a difference in the way my neck and everything feels when I wake up in the morning. In love with the way it really shapes to my head. Best pillow I have ever used, worth every penny and then some! I plan on being a HIBR customer for many years to come.
