We originally bought it for the ability to press a button and it tells you what time it is but the screen was big enough for him to see the time. The voice on the watch is loud enough that you can hear it across the room. It was a little hard to set up because it uses the atomic clock to set it. I had to put it in the wrong time zone to get the correct time. Once it connected to the atomic clock and set itself I had to switch it to the right time zone. Everything is correct now and should stay that way with it connecting to the atomic clock. I would recommend this to anyone that has trouble seeing a regular watch. What now?** A: This will only say updated when your watch connects with a national clock. Follow the directions in your manual to do that. I had to set my watch on an inside window sill overnight. The watch will connect on its own. If the update is successful then when you push #8 it will say it is updated. You may have to move the watch around in your living space until you get a good connection. I don't wear my watch at night and discovered that just leaving it on my dresser was good enough after the initial connection was made. It is a wonderful watch for me. **Q: Will this work outside USA.** A: it can get US signal only **Q: Has 24h format or just 12h format? It's inportant for a blind person to knows if it is for example 10am or 22h00** A: It says 10am or 10pm . I bought for my sister and that 10am or 22h00 might have been an option. I do not remember. But she uses it soooo much and it always says example ,10 AM . Can’t say enough great things about it . She could not live without it again ‼️❤️‼️ ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Big screen and loud voice. *by D***N on January 26, 2026* I bought this for my dad who has trouble seeing. She tells me every time I see her that she loves her watch. When I ask her why, she says it helps her know what day and time it is. I believe it gives her a sense of control and normalcy. A constant in a world that is confusing for her sometimes. It can be a little challenging to set, but not impossible. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hearkent Atomic Talking Watch Sets Itself for Visually impaired or Seniors LCD Big Number Easy-to-Read Talking Watch for Elderly - Hearkent Digital Talking Watch for Ladies with American Accent Voice LCD Big Numbers Watch for Visually impaired, Elderly or Blind People - Hearkent Atomic Talking Clock Clear Voice Time and Date with Snooze and Light, Clocks for Seniors 5 Sets of Separate Alarms Non Ticking Volume Control(All Black) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/386532878-atomic-talking-watch-sets-itself-for-visually-impaired-or-seniors](https://www.desertcart.be/products/386532878-atomic-talking-watch-sets-itself-for-visually-impaired-or-seniors) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
