Gone Scrap Crazy quilt pattern by Karen Montgomery

This is a great pattern! Quick, fun, well written, and it will help you use up (some of) those left over pieces of fabric so that you can justify buying more! :) For those of you who like more control of their quilt block placements, Ms. Montgomery also included a re-producible black and white "layout" diagram that you can colour before sewing.If you are someone who likes to buy just enough fabric to make the quilt, this pattern works well with the 10" "Cake layers" offered by many designers. However, you will need 2 or more sets of Cake Layers (40+ squares each) unless you are making just a small table topper or wall hanging.This pattern also works extremely well with "fat quarters". Again, for those of you who do not want scraps left over, almost the entire fat quarter can be utilized with 2 - 10" squares for the quilt and the remaining fabric used in the borders.I do have one CAUTION, be aware that you do need the "Scrap Therapy Templates" set by Creative Grids to use this pattern. Otherwise, buy, cut, sew, enjoy!!!
