Works & works fast. Easy to use. The best trap.
WORKS FAST. Got my first one in under 4 hours. Easy to to use (OK, I admit my wrist & thumb arthritis made opening the bait door a little difficult the first couple of times, but it quickly loosened up). Takes all kinds of bait except liquid. Useful cleaning brush included but you'll still a Popsicle stick if poop gets stuck in any narrow crevices. You know you have a prisoner because you hear the loud snap & can see through the transparent plastic. My old traps were smaller & even with the extra ventilation holes I drilled, the little guys emerged lethargic & drenched with sweat. These bigger traps are far more humane. My captive was dry & perky and reluctant to leave his motel. Forcible eviction in the park near a creek & trees was required.

Easy to Use and Great for People Who Hate Handling Mice.
This trap is very easy to use. It has a bait compartment and ventilation holes that help attract mice by allowing the scent of the bait to spread. I also like the design that keeps the mouse separated from the bait area once it’s trapped. It comes with a cleaning tool, but personally, I prefer to use the trap once and dispose of it. I’m not comfortable handling mice, so being able to throw the entire trap away makes the process much easier. Unlike glue traps, where you still have to deal with the mouse directly, this trap keeps everything contained. I simply swept it into a trash bag and disposed of it. Great option for anyone who is afraid of mice and doesn’t want to handle them directly.

Motel Mouse Humane No Kill Live Catch and Release Mouse Traps – Because Even Mice Deserve a Vacay
So, you’ve got some uninvited houseguests running around, plotting their next great escape (from your pantry). But instead of resorting to the old “trap, release, and swear under your breath,” you can give them a luxurious human experience with the Motel Mouse Humane No Kill Live Catch and Release Mouse Traps. This deluxe two-pack offers everything your furry intruder needs, catch a ride, get released, and maybe enjoy some scenic views before returning to their mousey home. Pros: • No More Mice Murder (We’re All About That Peaceful Vibe): These traps offer a guilt-free solution to your rodent problems. Instead of turning your kitchen into a scene from a survival horror film, you can simply catch your little guest, release them into the wild (or, you know, a field far enough away from your house), and move on with your day. You get the satisfaction of a job well done and no blood on your hands. That’s some next-level humane treatment. • Reusable for the Eco-Conscious Rodent Wrangler: If you’ve got a recurring mouse party happening in your house (because mice are so trendy right now), these traps can be reused. Plus, they come with a cleaning brush, which means you can keep these traps pristine and ready for their next guest. No waste, just straight-up pest management. • Effective Design: The traps are simple but effective. They use a spring-loaded mechanism to catch the mouse without harm, which means you don’t have to worry about finding a squished critter in the morning (unless you accidentally forget to release them, which… well, that’s your own thing to deal with). • Aesthetic Appeal: Okay, so maybe calling them aesthetic is pushing it, but these traps are sleek enough to not ruin the vibe of your modern farmhouse decor. At least they won’t clash with your minimalist kitchen design. Cons: • Can’t Predict Where Your Mice Will Hang Out: Unfortunately, these traps aren’t psychic. If you’re trying to predict where your mouse is going to be, good luck! You might need a little trial and error to find the perfect “mouse lounge” in your home. • Mouse Not Included: While this is more of a disclaimer than a con, it’s worth mentioning that you’ll need to attract the mouse yourself. These traps don’t come with a mouse concierge service, so you’ll have to lure them in with your finest cheese offerings (or peanut butter, if you’re feeling rebellious). • Size Might Be Too Small for Larger Mice: If you’re dealing with a mouse that’s more of a bodybuilder than a dainty little rodent, it might be a tight squeeze. Larger mice might be able to escape through the bars or simply refuse to cooperate. Maybe these traps need to add a mouse-sized gym in the next version. Bottom Line: The Motel Mouse Humane No Kill Live Catch and Release Mouse Traps are a win if you’re looking to deal with your rodent problem without resorting to extreme measures. You can catch and release without drama, and the cleaning brush keeps things neat. Sure, mice aren’t always the most cooperative guests, but when they’re staying in your trap, they’ll definitely enjoy the 5-star treatment.

Good, could be improved
This trap is efficient in trapping the mouse without harming it. I had a little bigger that made a home in my corner cabinet during the winter and was pretty elusive except late at night. While this trap does offer a good way to catch it, releasing is another story. The back part doesnt slide up very well so I had to push down the flap in the front and make the mouse slide out and risking a bite during the process. Cleaning it is also not very easy and from the short time it was in there, it left a heft amount of mouse droppings and urine. I also wish these traps would offer a small space for water, most of these critters dont come out until the early hours of the morning when youre sleeping so they you risk them dehydrating if you dont find it quickly. I had to stay up until 2:30 in the morning to catch it and then drive down the road to release it in a park. Not exactly ideal and one downfall to humane traps vs lethal.

Does what it says on the tin
First time having mice! I set these up with peanut butter at 9pm, already had a mouse by 11. And found another when I went down at 5am. Both of the mice were fine, no caught tails or anything. Looks like the trap is long enough for them to easily clear the door before they set it off. It was easy enough to release, though I did end up having to tilt them out in the end because they did NOT want to come out on their own. The back of the trap, where the bait goes, was initially kinda hard to remove, and then seemed too easy after that, no longer requiring me to squeeze it to get it off. That said, the mice didn't escape or even seem to move it, so I dunno if it's meant to be like that for easier release or what. Either way, currently not an issue. The trap did get pretty foggy once the mice were inside, and I know the mice were only in there for at most a couple hours, so I would appreciate a future model that includes more breathing holes. Granted, the mice seemed absolutely fine, I'm just a worrier. My only real suggestion is to maybe include release instructions along with the setup. It's not too hard to figure out, but I could see some people trying to push down the front door instead of removing the back, which would be a good way to get bitten

Good choice, but buy several.
Caught 2 mice in 3 days; released them in the back of the yard. If they come back, I'll catch them again! Update: These are effective, but only lasted for 3 mice. The latch wore out, so was useless.

Super falle

Mouse Hotel with a Checkout Policy – Humane and Effective!
I'll admit it: the idea of setting traps for mice felt a bit medieval. My sister swears by poison, but I wasn’t about to deal with the horror of mouse corpses decaying behind walls—no thanks! So, I gave these humane mouse traps a try, and they turned a stressful situation into a surprisingly satisfying experience. These traps work brilliantly. It’s like the mice couldn’t resist! I caught one every single night for three nights straight. Watching them investigate the traps was oddly fascinating (I may or may not have recorded it for my own amusement). The best part? Releasing them is mess-free and easy—just open the end, and off they scurry, unharmed. I drove them to a local park for a fresh start (and hopefully better snack choices than my kitchen). It feels good knowing you're solving the problem without causing harm. If you’re squeamish about dealing with mice but need an effective solution, this is the way to go. It’s humane, efficient, and dare I say, even a little satisfying. Highly recommended!
