Works great for my stubborn Bulldog
I had seen some similar looking units for less, but I am glad I went with this one. It is quality, it works great and it has the extra videos to show how to use it. Also the instructions are well written.

Didnāt last long after going in the water.
I had a very similar one that I used when my dog went swimming at the lake. Heās huge and when he tries to play with other dogs in the water, I worry heāll drown one. The previous one worked for over a year with repeated trips to the lake. I only ever had to use the beeping or vibrations. I really loved it so I order what seems to be exactly the same with just a different remote control color. Well sadly after one or 2 trips to the lake, the collar stopped working! It first started with not holding the charge very long to not working at all. After going months without one, Iām ordering a different brand and model. Not sure how long it would last you if your dog doesnāt go in the water with it.

NOT WATERPROOF!!!!
I bought this trainer for one specific reason. It says waterproof over and over in the description. Being on a lake with a dog who loves water, this was the only collar in this price range that would say without hesitation that it is waterproof.I found out very quickly after the first submersion in a couple inches of water that this collar is NOT WATERPROOF! I was trying to use the beep and vibrate functions and my dog was not responding. Sure enough the collar had stopped working and there was water visible in the little window for the LED.After calling the manufacture about this, the helpful customer service rep did confirm that this collar is 'water resistant' as opposed to waterproof. Which means that this product description is flat out wrong at best, and purposely deceitful at worst.Already initiated a return with Amazon. Looks like I'll have to go to the $100+ price range to find one that is actually watertight. I'm very disappointed with this collar for wet situations. The one pro for this collar is that it is very effective and quickly gets my dog's attention. But so did my non-waterproof $30 trainer. My 1 star is primarily for the false advertising. Fix this.

Great For Training
This collar is great for training. My dog didn't even need the shock to learn to drop toys she was territorial about. The vibrate was enough to let her know to stop. & now she associated the beep with the vibrate so if she's being naughty then she associated the beep with stop. I did not like the way the actual cooler itself was made- plastic material but for the price it's hard to beat.

It was super easy to set up
I wanted to wait a while before posting this review. We have been using it for about a month or two now with our 8 month old Deaf Dalmatian puppy who is about 55 pounds. I researched all different ones to find the right fit for us. I did not want to spend a few hundred dollars right off the bat not knowing how our pup would respond to a vibration collar. He is fully deaf and I wanted something that we could use for training him especially with recalling him while he is out and about. The product came quick and just as described. It was super easy to set up, aka turn on and off you go...no syncing to worry about. We let him get used to it first (he did not even care one bit). The collar itself is a decent enough plastic type in black (about what I expected for the cost). It has a lot of holes around for adjusting the fit, but if you have a tiny neck pup you might have to put in a few of your own. I thought the info said that it would have 2 SETS of the prongs (different sizes, i.e. short, long) but it only come with one set of two prongs.I just want to say first though before you read through the rest. This collar has made a night and day difference with our pup! He is now able to easily tell by simple quick light vibration when we need his attention so he can see the hand sign for what is needed at that moment. ESP when it comes to being outside and needing to get his attention! For the money we paid we received just about what I was expecting. Not the best collar ever, and not the crappiest one either! So I am overall happy with this one and happy with the purchase and as is our happy adorable pup! But for the reasons we need it and the amount of use it will see, I will be upgrading in the future, but not because this one sucked! Now as to the function; The good1: I LOVE that their are only the 3 easy to find buttons, so I do not have to look at the remote to see what I am pressing when needed.2: I love that the remote did not have an LED screen that I had to fiddle with and menu buttons and confusion. Just 3 buttons simple!3: The antenna is part of the remote..... as in one whole unit. So no worries about it falling off or being easily damaged.4: The size of the remote is perfect! It is small enough that I can easily carry it around most of the day with ease.4: It comes with a nice charging setup. With the one wall charger that has both cords attached to for easy charging.5: BTW we all tried out the collar ourselves before even thinking about putting on our pup!The okish1: The on/off button for the Collar box itself is on either the top or bottom (depending on what way you put it on the dog). So what has happened on occasion is that, if he lays his head or moves just right he sometimes turns it off himself! I can easily check to see if it is on by pressing the beep on the remote since he can not hear it, prior to say going outside. But that would not work for most people. So poor location for the collars power button in my experience.2: It has claims of being waterproof. Now where the charging ports are on both pieces is good. But it only has this little rubbery nub that you push into the hole to "seal" the whole unit back up with. Now it is not the tightest seal ever, and is mostly kinda loose and will pop out on occasion. I personally do not know if that makes any difference in the way it is designed to be waterproof or not. But I personally would not send my pup out into the water wearing this, and I make sure that if it is raining out that I make sure everything is tight and dry.3: The range is definitely dependent on the terrain and obsticles. The remote will work through a thin wall in the home but not all the time. Same thing with outside, for use it only works good if he is in a direct clear line for use.4: Now a lot of the time there is a lag from pressing the button till the collar is activated. So if I really need to get his attention I press the button quickly 2 times. The first to "wake it up" and the second to get his attention. So for us that has been frustrating at times. Now the bad;1: We have had 2 instances where the remote itself (not the collar on the dog) has suddenly stopped working and started to get very hot to the touch. It would resolve itself a while later and then start working again.......butttt that is not the most promising thing to happen with any electronics.2: Also you need to watch that the wheel of levels did not spin up or down while you holding it. It does not take much for it to spin to somewhere different than where you wanted it in the first place. So I do make sure that has not moved!Again I am overall happy with what we received for the money we paid for it, and it is about what I expected from it. If you need something simple and inexpensive to have and use occasionally with your dog than this will probably work great for you! I gave it 3 stars due to the hot remote issue and spending a lot of time making sure it is actually not "sleeping" with lagging responses (not due to a power save feature type thing either since I will press the beep just prior to see if it is awake....and 3 seconds later the response is not there). So I hope that this super long winded review from a real person, who has put this unit through real world work, and hopefully this review is helpful to someone!
