Runs big need to go down one size

I weigh 370lbs and typically wear a 4x to 5x in tops/bottoms, and pantries, depending on the brand and cut. I bought one each of the 5x and 6x because I wasn’t sure which would work better for my apron belly. Surprisingly the 5x fit very well, wasn’t too loose, wasn’t too tight either. The 6x fit but wasn’t any real support. I think a 4x would have been too small. 5x was perfectly sized for me.These don’t really do a whole lot except to smooth out the rolls and keep you from looking “frumpy”.My dresses fit and looked better while wearing these.

All I will say about this item is it's well made. NO, I would not recommend it.

I think this is my first review! I am a size 30 big girl with a large apron belly, and it has been a challenge finding underwear that works. Most underwear does not come up high enough, and the leg openings are huge and ride up on my belly. These are perfect! No riding up, no rolling down, they feel like they were custom made for my body! Came back to order more!

Well made and comfortable. If looking for more control get a size smaller. Even then still comfortable.

In my opinion, this underwear has two good advantages & two "let-downs".Firstly, I carry too much weight around my stomach area & have tried a number of different shapewear items across different brands over the last few years & have found them all to be a complete waste of money. The Max Shape pantys are a good price so I thought why not, ill give these a try. In terms of pants sizing, I usually run two sizes smaller around the legs & bum area compared with the waist so finding pants that fit well is usually a real chore. What I was looking for in shapewear was something that would suck-in & hold my mid-section enough so that I could wear the pants I have that fit better around the legs but are otherwise too tight around the middle.Onto the advantages: Firstly, this underwear does allow me to wear the pants which would otherwise be too tight around the waist. My mid section is trimmed & pulled in enough for this to be do-able & without having the infamous "muffin top" poking out over the top of my pants. Secondly, they help with posture & how you walk. I also noticed that I had no lower back discomfort when walking for a while.On the not so good side, the underwear does not seem to last very long. At first the waistband was great but after about 15-20 wears & washes, the waist band starts to give way & roll down, making the underwear unwearable. They seem to have a pretty short "shelf-life". Secondly, it would be great if the underwear did more to pull-in the lower stomach area.If these two issues were improved, this underwear would be an absolute 5/5 stars in my opinion.

This item is worth the buy. It fits perfect, easy to wash. I will order more. C.D.

Nice quality, but fits rather large. I ordered the largest size because that's what I was advised to do in the product description if I didn't really know what size to get. Way too big! All bunchy in the back and no slimmming in the front. I liked that they were all cotton though, it's tough to get support garments in a natural fibre. So, unless you're very large, don't go for the largest size. And for reference, I'm an 18.
