100 Taguchi Cd Round Protective Sleeves

Very nice sleeves. I have previously been using sleeves by Bags Unlimited, which are also nice, but these are made slightly better. The other BU sleeves are not all uniformly perfect at the seams on the edge, but the Taguchi sleeves are all perfect (and I think a little lighter). The discs also look very nice in them, they are frosted, not clear and look very professional.The only thing to be aware of, is that these are a little bit wider than the disc, so for some digipak/LP style cardboard cases these may be too big. For me, they have worked so far for the cd cases I have used them in, but I know some CD's come in very tight cardboard sleeves and these may not work in every case. I still recommend these Taguchi sleeves, though, I will buy them again when I run out! It's a cheap way to keep my CD's in good shape.

At first I wasn't too keen on these sleeves because they are a bit baggy and so they wrinkle when you slide the sleeve into the cardboard jacket, but now that I've worked with them a while I like them fine. They totally protect the disc from scratches when they're packaged in those cardboard sleeve LP style covers, and that's the main thing. I figured out how to fold down one of the top corners of the sleeve before sliding it into the jacket and so the other corner sticks out the open side and makes it easy to remove the sleeve without bunching and wrinkling. I would have preferred it if these were more tight fitting but they're the best I've found for this purpose.

These sleeves are too big for the cds they are designed to hold. I buy these sleeves to protect cds that have gatefold cardboard cases, or the type of box sets like “Japanese mini-lp cd” sets. These tend to have a bunch of cardboard sleeves for each disc. Some will come with a cd sleeve, and thats great. But ones that do not, these protective sleeves are a must. These ones, unfortunately, are just too big. And so, I will gladly recommend that anyone looking at these consider spending the extra $1 to get the sleeve city versions. Not sure why some reviews complaining it is too thin. Size and thickness are just right. It even fits well inside the original paper sleeve

Ok but with CD, fit is very tight and it wrinkles to get in sleeve
