A decent toy but finicky
This toy has been used by a number of different aged children who have come by our place but was bought for my daughter when she was around 15 months. I like that a young child can use it and if the water makes a mess, it's just water and not actual paints or markers or whatever. What I don't like is that any other drawing implement used on it will be there permanently. So our water wizard has little crayon and pencil crayon lines all over it. This doesn't seem to bother my daughter, however. Just keep in mind that if you buy this you'll have to be vigilant about keeping other art supplies away from the board. And also be prepared to mop up some water!

Great item
I bought 8 of these to use in an art class for pre-teens. This will be a great replacement for paper and teaching demonstrations. This is cheaper than the charcoal colored Budda Boards but works just as well. Comes in several colors
