was not "like new" condition - DVD has great info
I love the DVD itself, they slow down and show alot of basic and advanced stitches. The center spindle (on the copy in hand) came cracked & unaware of it happened during transit or not. The packaging did not appear to be smashed/torn or ripped but one never knows

Learning All Over Again
I was very please with this DVD. I haven't Knitted nor Crochet in a while it was helpful. I am able to start and stop to see what I am doing. Learning the different stitches is easy. I have arthritis very bad in my fingers and finishing a project takes a while. But I am very please with the final outcome.

This is a great resource for me. I am a visual learner, and I can watch the same part over and over as much as I need to until I get the stitch right. I can skip parts and watch and learn.I have mastered quite a few stitches from purchasing this CD..

User Friendly Video
This video was easy to understand because the camera shots were exceptional! This video takes the mystery out of knitting because you can really see the details as you knit along with The Art of Knitting & Crochet 2.

I don't reccomend this video.
When I first started watching this video it was ok. When it got to the sock making it was a huge disappointment. The video should have been taken from ABOVE the knitter not from across the knitter. It makes it difficult to follow what the knitter is doing. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone especially a person who knows nothing about knitting. Does anyone know of video that's taken from above the knitter? I just knit up to the toe and there is NO VIDEO sound. I can't hear what the woman is saying. There is no sound. THIS VIDEO IS A DUD. For the frustrating 2nd time return. The instructors voice is MISSING. Someone please check your merchandise. Thank you.

two words steer clear! I bought this dvd from amazon & also received one as a christmas present. Both dvd's have sound faults on the sock demonstration which means two returns, annoying. You can't hear the lady talking & one had a bleeping noise like an alarm. It's very low quality. I'd buy I can't believe I'm knitting instead if I bought one again coz I have the crochet one & it's great!
