A product that is made to submerge in water, but it's NOT water proof!. If you accidentally drop it in the water or accidentally rinse it on the wrong end, it will get damaged! I accidentally rinsed the wrong end for about 1 second, the PH meter was useless after that.Update - Initially I rated it at 1 star, but due to excellent customer service I decided to upgrade to 4 stars. The replacement PH meter arrived promptly! As far as the product, it's good for the price. The round hole about 1/8" at the top near the batteries is solved by using duct tape. I used duct tape to wrap the entire top end including the round hole. It's good to go.

Used it once, showed that my tank was 9.8 which isn't right since I tested it with a PH stick and was 7.9ph. I tried calibrating it and it now bounces the ph from 15+ to 3+/- then it gets stuck at 7.0 and I cannot change it from there. I can get it to go to zero, then it starts bouncing all over the place again. Worthless to me......

Directions very easy to understand, and I happy with the ability to check my waters PH Levels.

0 stars man...this thing never worked great. Ive have for a couple months now..Never did it calibrate. Button didnt work...my hydroponic guy said not to trust..cant get my money back or replace it..
