weird rubbery feel, not much resistance.

I have MS and used the two that I have (one for each hand) quite often. They especially help if I get upset. I can really sqeeze them or touch them lightly... very versitile.

No longer have this. The material made EVERYTHING stick to it unfortunately.

At 60 I've lost a lot of hand strength (despite weight lifting) but was unable to use other hand grips because of increasing discomfort (and sometimes pain) during use. This one is softer and doesn't cut into my thumb joint when used. It can be squeezed from the long (harder) or short end (easier). I place it beside a chair where I'll spot it and so use it several times a day. Great product!August 2014 update: Still works so well that I ordered a second one for another chair. However, the one I received was green and the box indicated green is "heavy" while the blue color I originally purchased is labeled "medium" and a third pink one is "light". This worked out perfectly for me because I have now developed more strength from pretty much daily use. However, it would be nice if Amazon could list (and sell) the three different weight options for graduated strength development.(By the way, I'm female but my husband also likes this handgrip)
