Raw Apothecary USDA Organic Coconut Oil (16.9 ounces)

I absolutely love coconut oil and have tried many different brands. I use coconut for cooking, hair and skin care. I have never tried coconut oil from Raw Apothecary until now. I am now a forever customer! I'm turning 48 and deal with premenopausal symptoms, one being intensely dry, itchy skin, especially my abdomen. The coconut oil I have been using has been okay but very brief relief from the intense itching I feel. Raw Apothecary's Coconut Oil is THE BEST I have ever used! I applied it once ALL day and it has calmed my inflamed, itchy skin! I LOVE the transparency and honesty of their labeling. It is 100% PURE Coconut Oil! Pure and Simple! Thank you so much!!! If there's one thing I'm never without, it's Coconut Oil. I had bought some Shea Butter from this company and received a coupon for 20% off my next order when it arrived, so I decided to use it on Coconut Oil and Cocoa Butter from this company. When it arrived, I could instantly tell just by looking at it that it was good oil. It has a nice creamy look when in solid form, and the wonderful aroma that greets you when you open the lid, makes you want to dip your finger in and take a bite. I've used this Oil in making lotions, chapstick, body butters, hair shampoos and conditioners and just directly on skin. I'm very pleased with this oil and will be back for more.

Nothing but great things to say about this jar of coconut oil. Organic is what I want, simple sweet smell, not over whelming. Helps out my very dry skin and great on veggies too. A wonderful all around product. Well above average and not only for cooking; skin care and medicinal use. My go to cream for my little grand daughter with very delicate dry skin. Like warm bath, pay dry and cover her liberally with this product. Heals her dry sensitive skin and she smells just like an angel.Next time I’ll order more then one jar. Excellent product.

This oil is smoother than any I’ve felt but it smells old. I wonder if it’s something to do w the plastic jar. As a general rule, coconut oil should b n a glass container. It’s not soured but I’m not sure it’s fresh. I think that when lotions and soaps turn, they smell like crayons.

This is by far the best coconut oil that I have ever used. I really appreciate the customer service as well. I received emails before and after receiving the product.

IT is gritty at first but does melt eventually. I apply to skin/body so I don't like that very much. I will look for another brand in the future.

This is a complete rip off. If you want Vaseline, then go ahead & make your purchase because that is exactly what it is. I'm so disappointed in the new product they are sending out. Its not the same as prior purchases. On the right is the product I'm accustomed to getting. On the left (picture with ketchup packet) is what they are sending out now. Big disappointment.

Very nice quality and it smells amazing! And I was emailed to make sure I was not unhappy with the product which is a nice gesture that I appreciated. Usually it's just purchase, receive, and done. Companies don't typically care to ASK if you were satisfied.
