Made a difference
Worth the price. I have issues with my feet and leaving this on the floor where I watch TV and using for 10 minutes daily made a difference.

great item, i love it!
i purchased this from amazon after seeing it at a Healing Arts Connection reflexology workshop in Glendale Arizona. at the workshop it felt great to use and everybody liked it, but when in a different place, well, i just never really trust how i'm going to react to the way something performs until i use it in my own environment. when it arrived and i got to use it at home, it was as good as i remembered it being at the workshop. the nubs are firm but fairly soft rubber with...if i remember correctly...flat tips, so you can really dig in with them, depending on how much pressure you use. you can roll your feet on the Foot Log, or roll it between your hands. usually, items have a hard time living up to their advertisements, if they are to be "experienced." the question becomes not only how well the item was constructed, but does it even closely live up to the advertised experience? this item comes through, and has a pretty good chance of coming through for a lot of people.what i think would be a nice addition/change to the product would be to have an open center lengthwise through the Foot Log, and then, similar to an item referenced in Fitzgerald's 1917 (or 1915?) book on Zone Therapy, a nylon cord could be run lengthwise through the log so it could be used with the feet raised in mid-air with the arms providing varying degrees of tension. not sure if i explained that well enough. if you read Fitzgerald's book, you will see the item i am talking about. that would be an additional great way to use this item. i tried to wrap cords around the ends so i could roll my feet on the log while they were raised into the air, but it didn't work well that way because the end pieces don't roll independently of the log, so it seems that the cord would really need to run lengthwise through an opening in the center as referenced above, but i imagine it would be easy to manufacture with that small change. it is fantastic the way it is, and what i am suggesting could be a nice addition by letting it be used on the feet while laying in bed, or it would even be an additional form of tension control while using it with feet on the floor.

Lethal Weapon and the Downfall of PF
Once upon a time in a land not too far away, a man loved to run. He loved to run so much that he ran whenever possible. Running was always fun dipping and darting through the forest and discovering new things. It had always been peaceful until one day...the day he met his ARCH nemesis...the evil, ferocious, most terrifying creature named PF. Once he met this arch nemesis he tried all sorts of evil things to defeat his enemy. First he tried freezing him to death with ice. When that failed, he even tried stretching his nemesis to death, all to no avail. After these attempts failed, he tried something so terrible and so evil it could only be used to defeat PF...REST. When something as evil as rest did not succeed in defeat he gave up, sulking in boredom and lack of physical activity. One day months later he was walking down a path, one he had walked before when all of the sudden he stepped in a large hole. He could not remove his shoe and suddenly the hole became much larger, and larger, and before he knew it he was falling. He hit the ground seconds later realizing he was in an underground cave. This cave was magical. He could tell it held something special as he saw a light in the distance, but noticed it was full of deadly traps. He ran past a large bolder, poison darts and an evil monkey and then he saw it...the log of many colors. It was beautiful as it shone in colors of yellow, red, green and blue. It gleamed like the sun, but just as he took it he noticed the bolder released, the darts started to fly and the monkey chased. Seeing an opening in the cave he just made it out alive. As he was running out of the cave he continued to run, faster and faster until he felt his nemesis attack once again. He wanted to defeat his enemy once and for all but didn't know how. And then, it hit him. He took the log of many colors and using it as a weapon he struck his ARCH nemesis repeatedly. He did this for only minutes when he noticed his enemy started to give up. He continued to use his weapon day after day, and after a week PF was defeated. The man could once again run peacefully and Plantar Fasciitis was never to be seen again.
