Q: how much does each tank hold?

Have only filled the larger tank and way more than enough for one cleaning...will use the smaller container when traveling. I very much like this product as it does not spray all over the bathroom. Hope this helps.

Q: Does the water tank open for cleaning? Whats the water frequency up to, times per minute?

I don't know this answer on frequency but cleaning is probably unnecessary.one could add Listerine to the reservoir.

Q: Can i purchase one larger water tank for the poseidon model ttp.pro2000w?

While my original irrigator had a smaller reservoir, I purchased another one with a larger tank option included. First one still works fine. Purchasing only a larger tank was not an option.
