Easy to use
Tears easily when stepped on. Take it easy! But great product, blocks the weeds in our garden for our tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, neck pumpkins, cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli.

Very good and exactly as I expected
This landscape fabric is made of very good material. Previously I had landscape fabric that I would describe as a 'black trash bag with thousands of tiny holes in it'. This landscape fabric made from a plastic type material but it is much more durable - but still not a thick material - and has millions of almost microscopic holes. Most importantly it is 6 ft. wide as described which is what I was looking for.

Almost perfect
I used this to place over the dirt in our old greenhouse. Per the instructions, we removed almost all the weeds. Unfortunately, we missed a rather strong one and it still tore through. It does seem to tear a little too easily but it definitely blocks weeds when it's under our garden beds full of soil and compost. Aside from the strength, it works pretty well. It's easy to spread out, peg down and it's pretty durable for most normal weeds.

Back Saving
This product is far superior to others I have used in the past. I used 2 6ft by 25ft pieces. Just lay it down . put some weighted object ( Stone, wood, etc) around it. Cut x's for your plants and that's it. It will eliminate 95% of any weeding. I have some back issues so that is important to me.There in no puddling and the plants seem to grow normally

Not 100% effective, even with mulch
I recently did some extensive landscaping of both front and back yards and used this landscape fabric in conjunction with mulch to prevent weeds. Once it is unrolled and on the ground, the fabric is difficult to cut with a straight blade utility knife. Scissors are fine if you are simply cutting a length with no X shaped holes for plantings that need to slip thru the fabric and can lay the fabric out perfectly flat. If you are cutting as you install, then scissors can be cumbersome and give you uneven edges. Use a hook blade in your utility knife or use a knife that curves back like a carpet knife or linoleum knife. This seemed to work much better as you try and pin the fabric while crawling around thru already established plants and bushes. Difficulty in handling the product is not why I only gave it one star. I gave it one because in more than a dozen places it simply did not do its job. Following standard procedures of at least four inch overlap of sections and cutting an X not an actual hole for plantings I have found myself frequently if not routinely spot-killing weeds in my planting beds. Onion grass has managed to grow right thru the fabric and up thru 3-4 inches of mulch. It did not happen at points where the fabric was pierced by the nursery pins nor did it happen where there was an overlap. It happened (and still does) at points right in the middle of a section of fabric where there was no compromise to the fabric itself. The onion grass just bullied its way thru. Maybe next time I should spend a little more money and get commercial grade weedblock fabric.

Pretty cheap material
This is pretty cheap and thin material. It will kinda work, but if you want a first class job that will last a long time I suggest paying more and getting much thicker material.

This fabric used to prevent fogging of large windows
Did not use this product as intended but it has proven to be a good temporary light weight sun block to prevent large (43 in x 10 ft) windows from fogging (between the panes) during the winter months. Cut and placed this fabric on the outside of the windows using spring loaded (small diameter) curtain rods. Windows no longer fog up at sunset as in the past and still allows some view to the outside. East to remove once the outdoor temps warms in the spring.

Really thin, tears easily, and it's plastic...not 'fabric' like real landscaping fabric.
This is NOT landscaping fabric. This is a VERY thin plastic. If you want real landscaping fabric, look elsewhere.I bought it for another purpose, but I'm not happy with the item. It is far too thin to be called landsdcaping fabric, as stepping on it would tear it to shreds. It also has an odd stickiness to it.It may work for what I'm doing (a winterizing skirt for a trailer, spray-glued to bubble-wrap insulation to cover the silver foil), but I really wanted something a lot nicer. I just don't have time to wait for proper fabric now.

Weed block my buttocks!!
I bought 2 rolls to cover my 21x40' garden. I took my time installing it as the weeds are bad in this area, and its difficult for me to be able to water by can, and weed it on my own. I carefully covered it in woodchips to conserve water, and to smoother weeds. It's going on a few short weeks, and I have to weed every bloody day already! Grass and thistles have no issues coming up through the weed barrier. I'm so furious, as I was only expecting to weed where i cut holes for seeds, and transplants. The weeds are not coming up through tears in the fabric they are forcing their ways through it. It is stopping other mis weeds so far.I'll never reccomend this rubbish to anyone!
