**Q: Is it padded ? Does it protect laptops and stuff? I get on trains and buses everyday so I need a bag that protects my stuff**
A: Yes, it's slightly padded. But I think it depends more in the way you use your backpack with the laptop inside. I get on trains and buses too but I'm still really careful with my things and nothing happens to it even when I carry it in a regular backpack or bag

**Q: What is the width of the laptop compartment, is it 22 or 28cm as the description does not clarify?**
A: Hi, mines measures 28cm
