Magnetic Cabinet Lock: Baby Proofing Cabinets, and Drawer Lock (8 Locks, 2 Keys)

I bought these to keep one of my kids out of the cookie drawer. She is about the size of your average four year old. It's a large drawer so I put installed two them, then had the cookie thief give it a try. Very first try and they both FELL APART!!

I just ran into these at my daughter-in-law's house. She has three toddlers, 3-year old twins and a 2-year old, all boys. We affectionately call them "the wild bunch". I am extremely impressed with how well these work; I had to wait for her to get home to explain to me how to open her cupboards. Without the key, the cabinet doors don't even open enough to get their little fingers into. She keeps the key (a strong magnet) up high on the side of her refrigerator and it doesn't get lost. I like this style so much better than the plastic bar kind that require you to reach in and push down to release their catch. Those either wear out with use or the kids figure out how to open them pretty quickly. I don't think this is the exact model she has, but I would definitely give these a try on my cabinets and am going to recommend them to my other children for their little ones.

I was excited to receive this item coz it's easy to install and no need any tools. I was dissapointed on the unlocking part. There's only 2 key knob included in the package along with 8 locks. You need to take this key everytime you open up a drawer or cabinet. It's just a pain in the a#$. Glad I didn't install all the locks. And if your drawer or cabinet is thick, the key magnet won't work. Just buy the old fashion way.

Simple to set up and works great!

So easy to install, and so easy to use. Now baby is safe. :)
