I've been buying Chateau spill stain remover for years. It WORKS on red wine stains, chocolate, marinara and coffee spills. I don't know what's in this stuff but it works magic. No residue, just spray and let it rest for a few minutes than i wipe gently with a lightly damp cloth. All of my spills have been on white sofa fabric and white dining chair fabric. All my stains have completely come out. I've applied to the stain right away. I give it as a hostess gift and my friends have all loved it! I don't even buy Shout or the standard stain pens as they don't work. I buy the 3 pack of this and keep one in my laundry room for clothing spills and my living room for furniture spills. It works magic every time on the worst stains.

I held out very little hope, but it was worth risking the cost. It worked out rather better than I had expected. Not perfect, but good enough on a rather worn carpet.

Someone accidentally spilled red wine all down my back while I was wearing a bright orange sweater. I immediately took off the sweater and ran cold water over the large stain. A friend suggested using this product which I borrowed from her that evening. I followed the directions on the bottle and most of thw stain came out on the first try, but I could still see shadows of the stain on the back of the sweater. After I used it the first time, I ran it through a wash cycle in my washer with cold water and hung it up to dry. I didn't get back to it for about five days. Again, I wet the back of the sweater, applied the solution, rubbed it in and again ran it through the wash cycle and then hung it up to dry. Once it was dry, the sweater looked good enough to wear again. This product certainly saved a loved sweater. I bought another bottle to repay my friend and am holding on to what is left of the bottle I used, hoping not to need it again.

However, after the second application and another wash, the results were incredible—there was no visible stain left! I’m so relieved I could save my new shirt. I avoided the cost of buying a replacement, and I still have plenty of the product left to tackle any future spills or stains on other clothing items.
