I bought two of these less than a year ago, loved them. About 6 months after I had them, one broke, right in my hands as I was taking the cap off, the top layer just cracked off! I threw the pieces away. A week ago, the same thing happened to my 2nd one! I decided I would give them another chance if the company would send me free replacements as they boast a lifetime warranty on their product. I emailed customer support...twice this past week, no one replied, not even one of those auto-replies! I even called Amazon...well, it turns a Nalu rep did respond to my email, explained there's some message confusion with their Amazon communications, and sent me to replacement bottles for free.I was so happy to receive my new Nalu bottles. They are thick, heavy, and beautiful, and I loved the ones I had before they broke...I hope my new ones hold up. For now I've updated my review to 5 stars as Nalu did honor their lifetime replacement policy and the bottles are working out fabulously for my tea and coffee. The Nalu bottles are gorgeous and has a nice hefty feel to them, and I love the pure taste of my tea and coffee from the glass with no icky plastic or stainless steel taste. My tea and coffee also stayed hot for a few hours, for the duration of my sipping, so I didn't have to drink lukewarm toward the end.
