Effective but only had one speed
Right out the box this thing is actually really big. I actually thought it was small device but it actually about as long as three fourths of my forearm. It is something you can put in your bag of needed. Next thing is is that it only has one existing vent. You can adjust it by moving it up and down. Unfortunately it is a manual process and not an automatic rotation. It is powered on by a simple push button. The fan is okay but it only had one power speed. Honestly the speed is okay but I do wish it had an ability to control the speed of the fan. In some areas this device does not have enough speed to keep you cool. That being said, you do have to fill the sponge with water and either freeze it or just refrigerate it. It is said to put some fragrance smell on it to give you a better smell. I will say for the best results for you to just wash the sponge because it smells really metal like when you first receive it. You would want to just soak it in mild soap warm water for a few minutes then just rince it and dry. The sponge is thin so be careful not to ripe it. For best results, I would recommend just put it in water and then freeze it. You may get condensation through the grill but you get long cool time. I also use essential oils to give a pleasant smell. After testing it, I found the temperature would reach as low as 60 degree Fahrenheit at the vent however you need to be about close to three feet to really feel it. Any further and it may just feel like warm air on a hot day. The device does have a built in internal battery and it can last about eight hours on a full charge. It is charges by and comes with a micro usb cable. The charging time may vary between two to five hours depending on charging medium. Overall this is a good product idea however the one speed only is a bit of a deterring factor as if reduces the amount of cold you could have.
