Tactical Soft Shell Jacket at the excellent price offered by this seller, you should definitely buy it! This jacket is of the highest quality and was very thoughtfully designed.The multi-layer fabric of this jacket provides waterproof and windproof protection, yet is very light-weight. The jacket has pockets on each side of the lower body, one chest pocket on the left side, one upper arm pocket, and one lower arm pocket on the same side as the upper arm pocket. The other arm has an area of Velcro on which you can place patches. All outside pockets have waterproof zippers except for the lower arm pocket - although the lower arm pocket zipper is hidden by a protective flap of fabric running the length of the zipper. On the inside, there are two zippered pockets on one side and one zippered pocket on the other side. There is also a large pocket on the back of the jacket, with a zippered opening on both sides of the pocket.The hood is roomy, yet cinches around the face of desired. The sleeve cuffs have Velcro adjustment tabs.I am 5'9" in height and weigh about 180 lbs. I like to have plenty of room in my outerwear to move around and wear a sweater. I ordered a Large in this jacket, which fits perfectly - it is neat in appearance, but there is still plenty of room from the waist to the shoulders, and in the arms, to allow freedom of movement and layering with a sweater or sweatshirt underneath the jacket. Many soft shell jackets are too tight to be really comfortable - this one is not.This will be the most valuable jacket in my closet - I'll wear it whenever the weather is bad but it is not cold enough for a heavy winter parka. Not sure what others mean about sizing though *by C***Y on Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2019* So I first received this coat earlier this week. I tried it on and found the fit to be just perfect. I am 5'10"/200 lbs, not buff but not fat either. This coat fits perfectly on me while wearing a hoody underneath. I wear an XL in all of my torso clothing and this coat is no exception so I have no idea why many of the reviewers are saying it fits large. It doesn't. If you are an XL, order an XL. I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars in my review for two reasons. First, my arms are average length and the sleeves come right to my wrist bones when I hold my arms straight out. I suppose this might be a "proper" fit, but I prefer my sleeves 1-2 inches longer than that. Second, the first coat I received had a broken zipper pull tab. The prominent chest pockets zipper pull was broken off entirely. This concerned me for the strength of the zipper pull. Luckily Amazon is awesome about exchanges for such things and within two days I had my replacement with no issues. I've worn it around a bit and found it quite comfortable and eye-catching. On a 65 deg day with rain I was wearing a tank top, t-shirt, a cheap fleece vest and this coat. After running into town for a few quick errands I was running on the hot side and should have left the vest at home. The coat felt comfortable and I'm looking forward to really putting it through some testing in the next few months. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Nice fit and does the job *by E***D on Reviewed in the United States on March 27, 2019* Was given this jacket for work. Constructed really nice and fits great. Have used it in the rain and cold. It is a shell so a fleece underneath is needed and does the trick. I have worn it without a layer and it protects nicely in not so cold weather. You will feel the chill without a layer underneath. It is a heavy shell and it will get warm (for me in 40-50 degree weather) even without a layer underneath. I keep it handy as it is now my go to jacket. Only issue I had was the chest pocket zipper. If zipped up under the rain protector, it will get stuck. I think the zipper teeth don't extend far enough on mine and it gets off track. So I have to zip it up only to the edge of that protector. Not a big deal for me as I don't use it much and I'm cognoscente of it.
