At about a $1 a pad it is a little pricey, but the heat was very soothing and relaxing. I did not need to use wetting eye drops for the rest of the day after using a pad.

Product works great and is easy to use. I've had some damage in shipping through Amazon, but I just contacted them and they actually send me a free box through their website. They are currently frustrated with their shippers as well and are working to resolve this.

The package even says if it get gets too hot, take it off your eye. Are you kidding, it's barely warm? Not warm enough for me. I do like the liquid on them , but will not buy again. And yes, pricey, as long as they work, I could care less. Won't buy again.

Product is wonderful, but packaging from Amazon in a mailer was ridiculous as box was totally smashed, causing several packets to activate rendering them useless. Too expensive a product not to protect in a hard box mailer!!!

I thought this would be a god send but it ended up being a disappointing product, doesn't heat up that much, if doing hot compresses just buy yourself a new pack of small towels and they'll retain the heat of hot water way better. Don't bother with these

This is an interesting and convenient way to apply heat therapy to your eyes. Each pad is individually wrapped and is moist. It's not a drippy type of wet, but equivalent to using a moist washcloth. You bend the pad to start the heating, much like a "hot hands" warming pad. It heats quickly and reaches a good temperature, but doesn't hold the heat for very long. The manufacturer claims the heat will last for 2 to 3 minutes. I've found that effective heat lasts for about a minute, then it stays somewhat warm for another minute.While it's quicker and easier than using a towel with hot water, or a gel pad that you heat in the microwave, the price is way more than I would expect for such convenience, especially since you'd have to go through a few to make a meaningful impact.Ease of use is 5 stars; performance is 3 stars; value is 1 star. I don't see this as something worth getting for at-home use since there are other options that work better at a far, far lower cost with just a little more effort needed. However, for traveling these could come in handy since you may not have easy access to the items needed. Based on the potential use when traveling I'll give this three stars, but it's a 1 star product if you plan on using it at home.

It was soft and had a cotton-like feel to it. In order to activate the heat, I bent the pad in the middle. My exact thought was that the heat was soothing, but not hot which was similar to the description given. It claimed to offer up “soothing moist heat,” which it did.This product might not offer up much more relief than a hot compress would, but it Is a convenient and easy-to-use pad. The idea is to stimulate the glands to produce tears, which it may or may not do.
