Touch Screen Digitizer Assembled with Home Button Strong Adhesive for iPad 2 2nd Generation A1395 A1396-Black

Having the digitizer and home button already attached made replacement much easier. Glass is a perfect fit on my Ipad 2. Adhesive was also preinstalled around the glass perimeter and had backing film that was easy to remove thanks to good sized pull tabs. Glass also has screen protector film on both sides of glass.Update: 11/20/2018 - The adhesive strips supplied with this product have failed. (Yes I fully removed the old adhesive and cleaning the surfaces etc..) The bond of the adhesive between the glass and frame is weak and allows the glass to pop off or shift. This happens when I place the Ipad vertically in its overnight charging stand. Next day the glass has separated from the frame. I can push it back easily enough and it stays in place when handled or laid flat. Recommend that you consider buying additional / better adhesive strips when purchasing this product. No complaint with the hardware other than

I have purchased another similar product and the adhesive quality was a bit poor and had some help with double sided electronic tape. I bought this product and the adhesive was stronger and was for a great price also. Definitely would order this again. I am an aspiring computer repair expert and trying to practice on repairing iPads and other mobile devices so I will definitely be ordering from this seller again!

Great value on this digitizer. We looked at several that cost more but due to feedback, we chose this one. Most of the feedback seemed as if it was given by actual human beings and even though the price was very competitive, figured we’d take a risk that did pay off.Screen was for my daughter’s iPad and after watching the process a few times on YouTube I was ready to proceed.I would suggest having a heat gun available as well as some GOOD suction cups for removing and RE-placing the screen.Adding heat to the process makes this so much less agonizing. I actually had to readjust the screen after the first placement and it went very well after softening the adhesive with the heat gun.The dimensions were pretty close to factory and everything seems to line up well. The iPad has full functionality post replacement as well.As long as you receive the same screen as we did, you’ll be in good shape.

The digitizer has a very weak adhesive; I applied heat and pressure, and yet the adhesive near the bottom does not stick properly and will come undone after a couple of hours after applying it. I may have to return this if it keeps becoming an issue.Also, the mounting plate for the camera was misaligned. I had to re-align it in order to get the screen to fit properly. If I hadn't had a reference of proper alignment, it would've been impossible.Outside of those two issues, the digitizer works just fine. The ribbon cable can be a bit of a hassle, and you can easily not have it in all the way, causing half of the digitizer to not work. I'd say that's more on Apple's part than the digitizer manufacturer, though.Overall, it is usable, however, if you don't have experience in repairs and refurbishing, it's going to be quite the hassle.

So if you read a great review on this its probably not a real review. It cracked WAY to easy. The adhesive tape did not stick well, one corner kept popping up. It did fit great and work just fine, no complaints about that. I replaced this broken one with one from MMOBIEL on here and it is far better. Sorry but it sticks far better, comes with the tools and a plastic boarder and this one does not. So for $6.00 more you get a far better screen.

Perfect match. A common problem when replacing an iPad digitizer is the adhesive. Aiiworld’s version is great! It’s not as sticky as the factory but is stronger than other aftermarket digitizers that I have used.

The new touch screen digitizer brought new life to a old iPad. I damaged WiFi antenna when removing old digitizer and had to order a new one. WiFi antenna is glued onto glass and very easy to cut. I highly recommend ordering a new WiFi Antenna so you don't have to wait for a replacement. I also recommend ordering a new bezel. New glass appeared to small, but with new bezel it looked perfect. WiFi antenna and bezel are really cheap.

Bought this to replace a failed screen replacement. At first, I thought this installation caused my backlight to go bad (accidentally powered on mid repair) but after going back in, cleaning and reconnecting all digitizer ribbons, everything worked perfectly.
