Online Shopping for Kitchen Small Appliances from a great selection of Coffee Machines, Blenders, Juicers, Ovens, Specialty Appliances, & more at everyday low prices Review: I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH MY PURCHASE! - Let me preface my review by saying I started eating healthy after surviving breast cancer. As a single mom with two teenagers, I want to be here for them. If that means I eat very differently and exercise, so be it. So I'm mostly eating vegetables (organic), no dairy, very little meat (but organic, grass-fed, free range meat), etc. I finally started finding sources for the healthiest food, but consuming it during a very busy schedule was another challenge. Who has time to consume 4-6 cups of salad during their lunch hour? I know I didn't. So I started looking at juicing. A friend graciously offered to let me try her juicer. Oh am I glad she did! That was NOT for me. The mess, the hassle, and the TIME! Plus I didn't like the results. Enter blender. Now I had a blender from my Mom that I think is from the 1970's (it's GOLD in color if that gives you a clue). I had to chop everything into tiny bits AND add lots of liquid to get it to somewhat blend. I never achieved a true "smoothie". It was more like a "chunkie". I didn't enjoy chewing my smoothies and it took FOREVER to chop everything and then blend it. So I started the search for a new blender. I asked for recommendations (and received plenty). Most were for a blender in the $600 range. Really? I'm a single mom! I don't have $600 to plop down on a BLENDER. So I started doing my own research. I found the BlendWorks here on desertcart. After reading the description, doing comparisons, and then thinking about it for about a week (the $250 price was still a significant investment for me), I decided to take the plunge. I COULDN'T BE MORE THRILLED WITH MY PURCHASE. I literally use this blender at least twice a day. My son especially has jumped on the healthy smoothie band wagon with me. So I'm making typically two meals a day for me and at least one for him with this blender. I am particularly amazed at how easily this blender pulverizes spinach! I use LOTS of spinach, and it completely liquefies it in a few seconds. This means NO MORE LIQUIDS added to my smoothies. I LOVE that! I core apples and put the wedges in (all at once). NO PROBLEM! I take the meat of an entire avocado and drop it in. Poof! Blended smoothly almost immediately. If I want it thicker, I add some ice. This is where it's totally AWESOME: the ice is completely chopped in a couple of pulses.I use the spatula (provided) to scoop out the healthy (and delicious!) goodness into the provided to-go cup. I'm still amazed how quickly I can put together a smoothie now. No chopping things into tiny pieces. No blending FOREVER and still not getting a true smoothie. I can make two meals in about 10-15 minutes top (including washing/cutting veggies and everything). One of my favorite parts: EVERYTHING that touched the food goes in the dishwasher! The jug, cup, and accessories have easily gone through the dishwasher at least 50 times already. They are none the worse for the experience. They come out crystal clean and ready to go again. There's also an added bonus that I probably would not have appreciated without using the "ancient" blender previously. There's a rubber piece that covers the main unit (that the jug sits upon). On my old blender, this area gets so grimy, and it's almost impossible to clean. With the BlendWorks, I can pull that rubber piece OFF and rinse it off to get it completely clean. Then it goes right back into place again! Now, I don't know if my previous experience is jaded by my very old unit, but I also experienced this with my Bullet - they seem excessively LOUD. My little Shih Tzu runs into her crate when those are running. This one doesn't seem as loud. Now that's probably also related to the fact that I only have to run the BlendWorks for 30-60 seconds to create a completely smooth smoothie. I had a question about my BlendWorks blender, so I contacted Customer Service through their website. Not only did I get a response, but it was prompt, courteous, and greatly exceeded my expectations. This is a company that stands behind their product!! This is a product that is literally changing our lives for the better. I am SOOOO glad I purchased a BlendWorks blender. I tell everyone I know about it and make smoothies for anyone that will let me. I hope to avoid a recurrence of breast cancer by this healthier lifestyle - which includes lots of smoothies made in this blender. I know you won't be disappointed by this blender!! Happy BlendWorks Blending! :-D Review: Great blender for a reasonable price - After three years of replacing Ninja blenders every year, I did some research and found BlendWorks . I was looking for a blender that didn't require the blades to be replaced often in order to get our daily morning smoothies the right consistency. I have been using BlendWorks for 10 months, and it is a real powerhouse. It's easier to use and clean because the blades are at the bottom of the blender rather than upright in the center of the jug. It works as well today as it did 10 months ago, and I have never had a problem with it not completely liquefying our shakes no matter what fruit or vegetables we add. I have also used it to liquefy my homemade soups and sauces as well as blend cocktails. If you are looking for a great blender that will hold up with daily use at a good price, look no further!

Initially great, but broke after only a few months. UPDATE: Great Customer Service
We bought this at the end of February because our last blender, which lasted years, finally broke down. We only used this BlendWorks blender for smoothies. Initially it worked great, much quicker than our last blender to break down the components and create delicious smoothies. However, two days ago my wife was using it and hear a clunk sound and the blades stopped moving. This was annoying because we ended up having to throw out the mix we were using as it was partially blended. From what we can tell the base works just fine, but there is a piece we can't get to between the base and the blades that is no longer causing the blades to turn when it's turned on. We are very disappointed that only about five months in and this expensive blender is broken. Update to original review: I reached out to BlendWorks customer service folks and they have been nothing but great to deal with! They will be shipping me out a new jug to replace the broken one and have also let me know that should that not resolve the problem, that they would certainly replace the whole unit. I have dealt with some really awful customer service departments recently so this is immensely refreshing to deal with a company that cares! I would recommend them to anyone and can only wish that more companies put as much effort into their customer service as BlendWorks does.

Love this blender!
I'm so happy with this blender! I finally decided to upgrade my old blender after getting tired of pieces and chunks left in my smoothie. I can't be more happy with the results, my smoothie is smooth and perfect now! I did have to watch a video only to make sure I was using the controls correctly, it's important to make sure you use them in the correct order, but it's super easy, even my kids can use it. It gives a lot of power, blends up nuts perfectly and even sticky foods like dates and prunes can be blended in without noticing an odd texture. It so worth the price, I see it as an investment for better health!

Solid, well-made blender
So far, so good with this blender. Pros: large capacity pitcher, quieter engine, metal parts (instead of plastic) in pitcher base, variable speed dial, easy cleaning. Cons: more square-shaped pitcher than my previous blender means food gets caught in the corners sometimes, leading occasional lumps in my smoothie, it's also a little over-sensitive to jams so it wouldn't start once when semi-frozen fruit was on the bottom. I read a review before purchasing about the top coming off during a blend, but I have not had that experience. I don't know if they made changes to the lid design since then, but if anything I find the lid difficult to remove when I'm done. That thing is never going to come off mid-blend. I use my blender every day and this one seems like a good one. My old KitchenAid was louder and I smelled that motor smell from time to time. That doesn't happen with this one. Also, the wide pitcher makes it easy for even my big hands to clean it. I haven't had this blender for too long yet, but my experience so far makes me optimistic that I'm going to enjoy it for some time.

Makes great smoothies!
We’ve been wanting a high-end blender for some time and couldn’t justify dropping the dollars on the competitor that starts with a V and ends with an “itamix.” This appears similar in specs (and even in design) for a fraction of the price. Compared to the cheap blender it replaced, it blends much faster, the result is much smoother, and it’s much quieter. It seems well built with a very sturdy container. I’m very impressed. My only qualm is that the extra junk (I mean accessories) included aren’t really needed. While they’re of acceptable quality but I didn’t buy a blender to get a peeler or another knife or cherry pitter or measuring spoons. Overall, great quality blender for a great price.

Only worked for 5 days
This blender was great for the 5 times it worked. Then it just didn’t ..... work. Would not turn on at all. Went back to my black and decker. I make Kale shakes daily 5 days was definitely not enough to make it worth while not to mention it was noisy.

Very nice, powerful little machine
First, I am a "blender guy". After suffering with a $29.99 job for many years I finally invested in a "real" blender made by Blendtec. That blender changed my mornings- I was pumping out shop quality creations by the 16oz plastic cupful. I decided to get a blender for the office, since sometimes I don't have time at home to create. I went to purchase that same Blendtec, and saw that they don't make it anymore (it was available used at a higher ticket- no thank you). I checked out some reviews and ended up with this little machine. The size is similar to my old home Blendtec, and it blends just as masterfully. The tamper is nice to have, but I don't stuff the container to the top, so I haven't had to use it. I am happy I found this item. The only suggestion I'd have is to offer it in multiple colorways like the Blendtec does. A red or a black would be nice for the kitchen.

Buyer Beware
I bought this blender on June 2020 based on all the positive reviews and the fact that it has a 3 year warranty. It worked well enough . I did not use this blender on a daily basis and have used it about 12 times at the most.Unfortunately, it stopped working about 2 weeks ago. I reached out to the seller who has been co-operative but basically referred me to the manufacturer. I have called and it goes to voice message. I left a message. I also sent 2 emails and I have not heard back from them so far. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I have reached out to Amazon customer service and they will be checking on the manufacturer to see if they can get through. Otherwise, there is a very high like hood that this manufacturer will be removed from this platform for false claims.
