Excellent product
This is an excellent product and a must have on cold days. Fits great under the helmet, keeping my kid warm on the ski mountain.

Best balaclava for ski helmet
I believe this design is unique and the best for using with ski helmet:1. the top is thin and provides plenty of warms under a helmet.2. the neck is double layer that shields nicely from wind. It can be easily pulled down below chin in warmer conditions. My existing Turtle Fur shellaclava was purchased more than 20 years, served me well for all this years and is still in good shape.I've decided to buy a new one (out of fear that it might be discontinued and that would be devastating to me :-)) and to have a spare one and to have a newer look. Please notice that Chelonia 150 Fleece is there warmest model. Custome rep from Turle Fur confirmed for me that Chelonia 150 Fleece is warmer than Micro Fir. Their website is inaccurate as it shows it in reverse.

Soft, warm, fits under helmet
In short, yes, get this one. Can wear it like pictured, with head part tucked in neck without being choked or pull it up under a hat or helmet. Better comfort and warmth than hat and scarf combo.

Best face protection for skiing
Everyone in the family loves these. So much better than a scarf or goofy Velcro mask. Super warm, easy to adjust, and soft.

It is warm
I had a similar prodcut from this company. Used it under my snowmobile helmet. I like this product but the neck part is not as comfortable as it goes higher up on your face. When you "roll" it down so you can talk it feels tight, on your neck. BUT it is a good product, well made just not exactly what I wanted. I wanted it for walking the dog, with friends and talking is part of the walk, so the fact that it is "tight" on my neck makes it not what I wanted.

My new go-to for snowmobiling
I have tried so many balaclavas for snowmobiling it’s insane. I like that this one has the fleece bottom with the shell top. This is my new go-to. Used it under a modular snowmobile helmet in Wisconsin, riding in 10 degree weather and kept me warm. Could put a shell neckie under for more wind protection if desired.

Soft and Comfortable
I purchased this for a ski trip. The product worked wonderfully. The neck warmer portion was thick and soft and help to cut winds in below 0 temperatures. The head covering portion was comfortable and fit well within a ski helmet. No complaints after seven days of skiing. Would recommend high quality product.

Warm and snug
Turtle fur is very warm, it went down a treat during skiing. The only thing is that it is quite snug and not much room around the neck.
