Great map for a great place!

rental car maps just as good

Essential for planning your travel on the South Island, particularly if you are a "traveler" and not a "tourist", riding around on those big coachbuses. Folds up nicely. Glossy paper, but easy to highlight and write on. Hasn't torn. Easy to see all those little towns that make up the majority of New Zealand.

Given the pictured appearance of it and that for the North Island for the thick end of a tenner each I assumed they were proper road atlases. Nothing of the sort. They are single sheet small scale maps and a total rip-off for the money as they are no better than the maps given out by the rental car firms.

Arrived on time, great map, useful on my NZ-trip!
