NOT a standalone Study & Revision Guide: partly useless without the same authors' main text book
At first glance, and in reviewing Look Inside, it seems to be spot-on.But beware: it is NOT complete! In AT LEAST 10 places it refers directly to the text book. On at least 3 of these references, it's part of the exam-style question, eg 'Study Figure 16 on age 59 of the textbook. Describe changes in Detroit's population...' which of course you can't do without the £21.99 main text book. The references seem to be deliberately put into this Guide to require you to buy the other book, since this one IS packed with diagrams and tables - which would have got it 5 stars... but gets only 2 as there's no clear logic as to why these (at least) 10 elements were not included in this Guide. So £12.50 for a Revision Guide which requires you to spend another £21.99 on a text book... this is NOT a revision book which (quoting the back cover) 'can be used by any student preparing for ...' without the other book. We'll muddle through but if anyone has the text book, could you post a pic of Fig 13 on page 73 and Fig 16 on page 59 to give us a chance at the example questions please?!

I found that this book, apart from anything else, was just not helpful to revise from. The information given is too data based and the text isn't all in note form making it very hard to read. There is almost too much information and not alot of it seems like it's going to help me in the exams The questions are good but I can't see any answers to them but it does have some helpful exam tips. I have simillar books like this to revise from in my other subjects and they have been great so I was quite dissapointed by this one.

Don't expect answers to the questions - they are missing and not available from the publisher
Don't expect answers to the questions - they are missing and not available from the publisher - I contacted them first, no help available from them.A revision book where most of the questions have no answers is not that great for revision, is it ?The blurb suggests that answers are given, but they are only given for the few Exam-style questions at the end of the topics, not the questions as you revise. It is a real shame, as it is otherwise a helpful book. The chapters on Map Skills and Exam in place of coursework are pretty lightweight too.
