Was a good price at the time I ordered it
Appears to be the same stuff I've gotten in the past. Was a good price at the time I ordered it. I use a 0.01 mg scale to measure about 5 grams (no need to be exact but I like to see exactly what I'm getting) in the morning and 5 grams in the evening. Adds up to roughly 7 grams of potassium. The RDA is 4.7 and paleolithic man, according to the best study I could find, got 400 meq +/- 100 meq or roughly 15.7 grams plus or minus 4 grams. Using Cron-o-meter free software to track exact vitamin, mineral, and amino consumption, I see that I get 3 grams/day of potassium average from food so adding 7 grams gives me 10 grams/day of potassium. One medication I take depletes potassium some so this works fine for me and even then I well within the amount our genes adapted for. Better than taking 70 pills a day with the 99 mg/pill FDA limit which would be whole lot of filler and cost orders of magnitude more. However, when traveling, pills look better to customs than white salt like powder.

Great quality potassium citrate powder
Great quality potassium citrate powder. Seems cleaner than a different bulk brand that I was using previously, which left a film on my glass (suspect magnesium carbonate or some other flow agent in that one). This PFL source actually seems 100% pure. I also like that this comes from Germany, rather than China like most others. Will definitely buy again when the time comes. PFL is fast becoming one of my top supplement vendors. This is excellent for alkalizing your system, along with PFL's sodium citrate. Helps to deal with lyme symptoms, and an alkaline body helps methylation to proceed more efficiently.

Great alternative to expensive medicine! Combined with Lemon Oil, easy to take!
I have been paying $90/mo for years for little packets of this stuff from the pharmacy. I got tired of that, and searched for Potassium Citrate on the web. Wow, my favorite store, Amazon, has it, and prime shipping! So now it costs me something like $5/mo or so, and it works just fine.My doctor prescribed 3300 mg 3 times a day (that's what is in the packets). It includes berry taste, so just add to water. In this case, I measure out about ⅔ of a teaspoon, into some juice, and stir. Saves a lot of $$$, and works just as well.Don't assume the amount I take is right for you: ask your doctor. I have a friend that only takes 1000 mg a day for the same problem (kidney stones). Dunno why I take 10x as much, but there it is...Update: I now only use 1 Tsp per day, in conjunction with 6-8 drops of Lemon Essential Oil. Both of these are great for your kidneys, and the Lemon oil is great for overall health. Without the lemon, I am tired, low energy, napping, and depressed. Add the lemon oil and I feel great! The Lemon oil makes the Potassium Citrate dissolve very quickly, and easier to drink. I take my vitamins and medicine with it every morning, so I don't forget. It is cheaper than using fruit juice, and actually better for you!Important note: DO NOT use a plastic spoon to stir the citrate/lemon combo - a metal spoon is required.
