The media could not be loaded.  I read at least one other review warning that the milk-white one wasn't actually white, but the other pictures from both the product description and other reviews convinced me that reviewer must have just been extremely picky or something. No, the color is a grayish-beige. I included a white paper towel in one of my pictures to show the contrast so no one will doubt me like I doubted the other reviewer.Of course, the color not meeting my expectations is not really a defect, just disappointing for me because the color looks terrible in my kitchen. It could still be cute for other people.Otherwise, the kettle worked as I expected it would. I have never owned a kettle before so I can't really say how it performs comparatively, but for me the whistle was loud enough to hear from anywhere in my good-sized two-bedroom apartment.The handle didn't get hot at all, and the big lid was cool enough to touch (but don't take it off when the water inside is still hot, or you could burn your hand with steam).Overall, it seems like the price I paid (~$40) is a bit much for what it is. I would think it was worth more like $25. But that estimate is not based on anything really except feeling. I don't know much about kettles and what makes a good one.Anyway, I'm mostly posting this review just to provide more customer pictures, since those are often what I use to decide on my purchases.

It’s cute

Bought it for my wife. It looks great and being able to handle it, while hot, without using a pot holder is a big plus! We are both very happy with it.

Tea kettle. it works. not made well, but will work. flimsy handle.

It cleans up easily and is very pretty in my opinion. Hubby said it looks like a golf ball LOL I hadn't noticed until he mentioned it, but it does. But I love golf, so that's cool. It's great on my glass stove top. Holds quite a bit of water. It's exactly what I was looking for!

I love the green color so much!

I bought this to keep on stovetop and throw away my BF's old stainless one that didn't whistle anymore and had a handle that got too hot. We each make a cup of tea or instant coffee every morning. Initially loved the color, but it started turning brown after only 3 days of mild use. The handle is nice, doesn't get too hot to handle, but kettle seems to take longer than our old one to boil the water and doesn't look pretty with brown spots. Perhaps a darker colored one would be better. I don't know, but we don't love it and regret throwing our old one away now.

Not only is this super cute but it is comfortable to hold and the release button is such an awesome touch. You don’t have to worry about accidentally burning your finger to open the spout! Everyone asks me where I got my kettle!
