Feeling like I was ripped off.
I bought this bag to be a 3 season bag. I figured that a 0F rating would probably keep me warm at least around the low 30's. I was so disappointed when I went on a summer trip and was uncomfortable at 40F. There were cold spots all over the bag. When I looked at the insulation there were huge areas with no insulation. I contacted Hyke and Byke and got a form letter from James from the Customer Success Team. He gave a 3 fold response: 1) After spending over $100 on the bag, I would need to"manually adjust the down" to make the bag usable, 2) 0F rating really means it will only keep you comfortable 10F to 32F, 3) Get a smaller bag. This bag had so many good reviews. I was looking forward to future trips with warm nights. So disappointed! Save yourself headaches and avoid this brand.

Great bag
I bought 2 of these. One for my 12 year old son and one for my husband. My son is in boys scouts and has taken this sleeping bag on 2 camp outs. The first camp out the temperature reached 21 degrees. He and my husband both were very warm in their sleeping bags. My husband had to come out of some layers to cool off through out the night. The second campout, the temperature reached 9 degrees. I attended this particular campout and I had on thermal undies. At one point, I unzipped a section of my sleeping bag so I could get some cool air. I also took off my beanie. They compressed well and were light weight to carry in on a back pack camp out. The company sent directions on how to care for your bag. It came in very handy because we are all new to camping out.My son is about 4โ10โ and weighs about 90lbs. We got him the regular size.My husband is 6โ3โ and weighs about 215. I am 5โ4โ and weighs about 145. I ordered us the regular size as well. I fit comfortably in the bag and have room to move around. My husband also fits into the bag and doesnโt have as much room but he is able to move around as needed.I purchased these bags because of the price. Since using these bags, a couple other families have purchased this brand for their kids. It is a great bag for a great price.

The complaints about voids in the insulation are legitimate.
I read many reviews before I bought this bag. I noticed that even though this item had an overall 4 star rating that there was a consistent complaint about voids/empty patches in the insulation that creates the "loft" that traps heat and keeps you warm. I wrongly assumed that these where complaints from individuals that were impatient and did not allow the insulation time to expand and/or didn't actively try to distribute the insulation evenly. I tried multiple techniques to fill the insulation voids. I even place the bag in a large dryer with NO heat and a pair of children's shoes to try to break up and redistribute any clumped insulation, but to no avail. No matter what I did, I could both feel the areas lacking insulation and easily see light through these areas when holding the bag up to an outside window. With that said, the shell, stitching and zippers seemed to be of high quality. I believe the problem is most likely do to poor quality control in the adding of the insulation. The foot box is adequately filled, but the insulation filling of the main body is extremely inconsistent. Another example, there is about a 2" diameter tube with a drawstring that runs the circumference of the bag at shoulder level that is used to trap heat in the bag. This tube contained a minimal amount of insulation and barely had an perceived loft.I rated this 1 star because a sleeping bag without uniform insulation distribution is not worth taking no matter how nicely the shell, stiches, and zippers are made.I returned the bag.

Not what I expected
There is no way this is a zero degree bag. Maybe 50 degrees. The insulation is poorly distributed and not well secured. Holding it up to the light, I can see areas where there is no insulation between the inner and outer shells. Not waiting on winter, sending it back.
