There is a home button that allows you to switch between apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, SlingTV etc. The only thing it doesn't have that the Samsung remote has is a "RETURN" button which is helpful when you want to go back a level without exiting the app entirely. I called Philips and spoke to them at length about this feature but there is none unfortunately. Other than that, this remote fits the bill very well. It also integrates with my Vizio sound bar nicely for good measure.
