WC PadZ WH-1000XM3 - Extra Thick Replacement Earpads for Sony WH-1000XM3

Exactly what I needed. Headphones feel brand new again. It's firmer than the previous one, and not as soft, but I'm hoping I'll get used to that soon. As a result though, I'm hoping this will last longer. The passive noise cancellation is so much better after the replacement, and audio quality in general has markedly improved. It's overpriced for what it is, but it is highly specialised, and the difference it makes to the headphones overall makes it worth it.

It's a bit expensive because its an imported product from a fairly young and motivated brand. Packaging screams their commitment for excellence. The padding is little bit thicker than the stock, thereby preventing the drivers from pressing against your ears. It provides better passive noise isolation and better comfort over the stock pads. The faux leather quality seems top notch. Its like falling in love over again with my Sony headphones! Will update if my opinion changes.

Although it is on the costlier end of the pricing spectrum, I'd say its worth it because it just works. Easy to install, very comfortable and so far durable. If you have the cash for it, would highly recommend.

I wasn't expecting much for the price, but given that an original SONY replacement would be 3 maybe 4 times the price I thought I'd give this a shot. Came with some very clear instructions on how to remove and replace the cushions with your headset. Will have to tell about comfort after using them for a long time, though not leather or leatherette, the material did have some smell, which I guess will wear off after time.

The product was good initially. The comfort and noise cancellation are up to the original standard. But the cushion layers started to come off in one year. We cannot pay 1800 every year to replace this.

I bought the WH-1000XM3 headphones in July 2019 and used it until May 2023 with the original earpads which lasted longer than I expected. I'm very sensitive about these things and use almost any items with utmost care. So my old earpads deteriorated after 4 years and wanted to buy a very good earpads which could last long for another 2-3 years at least and then I came across the Wicked Cushions earpads which are compatible to WH-1000XM3 and has great ratings and reviews on Amazon. It's been more than a year now and I'm NOT SATISFIED with this one. It's really great than the original ones in terms of comfort and thickness, but it's extremely sensitive. Post 1 year the peel started to wear out, I'm not happy with it. I would rather go with a cheaper one than to buy this expensive one which doesn't last long.

Perfect. I feel like the noise cancelling is working 300% better.

Update 8/23/26: they finally wore out. A little over three years of use before they started looking worn out/damaged and developed rips. I added a picture to show the difference between the brand new ones I just bought and the ones I had on my XM3, used multiple times a week every week since purchase 3 years ago. Still a great product and I'm happy with the longevity of it. I imagine if I used these more frequently especially when sweating, that they would degrade faster. Update 06/22/25: still works great. No peeling or any visible wear and tear. Update 05/23/2024: still going strong. I added these to my new black xm3 and it looks even better than the silver Original review: 08/05/2023: And for those of you who were like me and wanted to see this color/design on the "gold" headset (it's more silver than gold but ok Sony, go off) here you go. I actually think it fits really well and I'm really happy with it. They took a bit to finagle into the hooks but I got it after a couple mins for each one. The sound cancelation is like 95% ad good as the originals, and the foam is so cushiony. This has breathed life back into my headset and I'm here for it. I'll def be buying again in the future.

I love my Sony headphones, so when I saw these I was excited. When I put them on, I was very satisfied - no need to replace the headphones! Looking at them, you would think they're the originals as they fit so well, only more padded!

Pasują jak oryginalne. Montaż bez problemu, polecam film na YT. Dużo twardsze niż fabryczne, wiedziałem o tym, ale i tak byłem zaskoczony jak bardzo. Wciąż wygodne. ANC zdecydowanie powróciło po wymianie wyeksploatowanych, może nawet mocniejsze.
