I am actually super satisfied with this purchase. The quality of the materials seems to be very good, and both the salt and pepper grinding work great (with adequate control over the grind coarseness). I had ordered another set off Amazon from a different manufacturer before trying these, and the pepper shaker never could produce anything other than a fine dust after a lot of wrist movement. These are much better.My only gripe is that the holder for the salt and pepper shakers is a little wobbly but it's not a huge deal and I didn't even buy these for the stand. Good product!

The look and design is nice. I like the holder to contain them both. However, after i gently washed the shakers with soap and water and let them dry thoroughly, i tried to adjust the mill grade in the middle and it was stuck on one of the shakers. I tried to use a wrench to turn it but the screw holding it together snapped in half. It is unusable as i cannot get the screw out of the black handle part. I looked for a single mill of the same type so that it can match the other one in the holder, but was unable to locate one for sale.Update: Proshar was great and promptly sent out a new shaker. Set complete. Looks and works great. Thank you!

I'm only giving it 3 stars because I have not been able to contact the seller. In one of the grinders tge black ring in the inside broke off when I was grinding salt. I have been trying to get a replacement but I have not been able to contact the seller. Any info would be great. I love the grinders and they do work well, I just need a replacement since a piece broke while I first used it.

If these are only intended to last 1 year, then these meet expectations. We purchased this set in January 2017 (14 mo ago) and have used them daily but already all three pieces are broken. The spritzer was the first to go, because it leaks and one of the pieces broke off very soon after we purchased it. The lids to the salt and pepper shakers no longer fit after 6 months of use because the black rings on the top of the shakers became loose.We found these very difficult to open to refill and accidentally broke the internal component of the salt grinder trying to open it to refill it last month. Today, the pepper grinder ground small pieces of black plastic into our breakfast, making he third piece useless. Overall, these feel cheaply made and we will not purchase them again.

I love this salt and pepper set. They are classy looking and the perfect size for the hands when I'm cooking. However, after about a month of use, the shaker I use for pepper lost a tiny plastic ring that fits around the mechanism you turn to change the grind. It's hard to imagine this little ring makes such a difference, but it doesn't work without it! Since my return window closed just before this happened, I stuck it in and it worked again...for a week. And now when I try to reinsert it, even when I tap it with a screw driver, it won't stay. What a waste :-(.

I love that each one has an adjustable grinder. I recently used these at a dinner party and my guests commented they had never seen a salt and pepper set with grinders and an elegantly simple design. Great for minimalists or just people who appreciate well designed items in their homes. It also comes with a vinegar sprayer or spritzer. I plan to fill mine with water which I will use in a variety of ways.

A piece fell off both salt and pepper causing them not to work . They work great until the piece came off. This was after less than a week.We have received a replacement set and they work great. We must have received a bad set. The company has been very good to deal with and I would definitely recommend the Salt and Pepper set. They do work great for the price.

a little difficult to get the salt to a good grind, it may be user error, as I can't see the salt grains well
