Review: I got my son these Fischer UX 6 x 35 mm Universal Plug (62754) for a few jobs around his home , and I’m very impressed with the quality and performance. These plugs are extremely versatile – they work well in a range of materials including brick, plasterboard, and concrete. The design expands in solid walls and forms a secure knot in hollow materials, which gives a really strong and dependable fixing.  I found them easy to install with a standard 6mm drill bit, and they sit nicely in the hole without spinning thanks to the anti-rotation ribs. Once the screw is in, they grip firmly and feel very secure – ideal for things like shelves, curtain rails, and light fittings. Pros: • Very strong hold in different wall types • Easy to install and good fit in drilled holes • Reliable brand quality • Great for general DIY use Cons: • Screws not included (so you need to choose the right size) Overall, these are a solid choice for both DIY beginners and more experienced users. I’ll definitely be buying more – they’ve become my go-to wall plug.
