Texas Basket Company Half Bushel Shallow Basket

I purchased the Texas Basket 155 12.5" x 5.5" Half Bushel Basket, with handles. I received something totally different, a 9”x 6.5” bushel basket, pail. So disappointed but I could make it work to avoid returning. What makes this a one star review? Some anger. This basket should never have been sent as made!!! The wood slats are roughly cut at the top of the basket…not a big deal breaker but read on. The finish slats around the top and the middle of the basket are stapled in close enough to the ends that they are splitting. Some of the wood slats are splintered and cracked (Yes, this is a wood basket but I have bought multiple wood baskets that do not have these issues.) The biggest error, the middle finishing slat is not stapled in 4-5 places in a row.Does this company not have pride in its product?! I shopped for not only for this basket, so when I read the multiple reviews of baskets from this company I was very comfortable with purchasing. I would not recommend this product and now the company to even an enemy.

Just what I'd hoped it would be, I recommend this seller's wares

Filled the basket with seed packets, garden gloves, gardening tools, how to garden book along with seed booklets, soil additives etc as a gift to my daughter. This is her first year gardening

Well made basket, little smaller then I anticipated, but still a great buy.

Rough edges limit its uses.
